MC became the ML's sun, center of his universe, and then acts surprised when ML spins out of orbit once MC disappears. Author absolutely cooked with this back story. I didn't think they could do it but they did! Recipe for creating a tyrant. Also shows how those who flaunt and abuse their power are usually doing so because they feel like they have none. Damn, I'm so curious how this will develop
Ok tho high key concerned for the future of humanity tho when kids who r struggling just rnt given any help? It's the teacher in me i feel like kirara's dad is gonna have either marshmallow vibes or be super macho
Yeah he's not interested and I think part of that is because he doesn't understand what's being "taught." If you try hard to do something (which he genuinely does his best in this chapter) and still can't understand it then that's called struggling. He did get his grades up, but that's not a reflection of his understanding but his ability to memorize. I'm not saying this makes him any less valuable as a person, I'm just saying that the system doesn't care about him and that's what's sad. We are brought up in a system to uphold the system, but when we can't live up to these superficial expectations then the system has no problem throwing us away/abandoning us. It's a critique of the structure, not of Kirara
And that's a valid critique.. but I'm saying specifically of Kirara that it's a non-issue. There are just kids that have absolutely zero interest in academics. It's still fundamental that they get a foundation in education so they're not pushed entirely out of society but I don't think it's a failure of his teachers (in Kirara's case).
I can't wait for the hypothetical day when this artist draws a nice story with consent
Sadistic Beauty: Side Story A, although it’s by a different author. Good GL, but in order to get the full context you need to read the main story where the lesbian character is coerced into having sex with a man, as a heads up. If you want something without sex at all then the Sadistic Beauty author and this artist worked on a manhwa called Cherry Boy, That Girl.
Gosh I feel Luke, u wanna like bruno so bad and see the good and humanity in him, but u can do that while simultaneously drawing a firm boundary of "i understand ur in a tough situation, but i wont let u drag me into it. Cross this line and no more mr nice guy." I guess luke has always been naive tho, it irritated me so much that he couldnt see how fucked up stacey was

Bruh Korea and its obsession over blood ties = family is so fucking annoying. Ik it comes from confucianism which comes from China, but idk why I only ever really see it so blatantly flaunted in korea based stories. Anyways, I love how they became others safe space and have finally managed to tell each other how they feel. Feels weird every time seme says that uke going down on him in his sleep is illegal tho. Like yeah, but also u weren't 100% mr consent king in the beginning either... I'm just glad they're together now.
Also omg these sex scenes r to frickin die for, every time we see seme workin at that bootyhole dayum! Honestly, an angle I could use more of in BL.
