I can't get over the miley cyrus pigtails. Why couldnt they have stayed happy like that
I know that, it was a rhetorical question. A more fleshed out version of said question that I didn't think needed to be clarified was "why couldn't they not have this horrible tragic past between them and exist in a different reality where they can be happy and guilt free together?" Although I do understand your concern, some people be commenting the wildest things on this site
Ok but the trauma backstory was kinda ridiculous. So she falls and then forgets not only a very significant part of her life, but her entire personality too? And she has delusions that some other boy is her son? Does brain damage even work that way? And the driver that hit her like come on do you not scan for possible hazards (like a woman trying to walk out in the middle of the street)? Altho it's Korea and ppl be driving like nascar so I guess that's realistic. That's probably the only realistic part of the back story lol.
It just doesn't make sense for a father to blame his son for his wife's accident so much so that he actively tries to ruin his life well into adulthood? Like if u really loced ur wife, why would u try and screw over her only son, the only thing that remains of her? Also that's some 5 year old energy. Did trauma cause the father to regress to the mental state of a kindergartener?
i mean it is fiction however my grandfather has a really bad concussion from falling and he never fully recovered from it. when it first happened he actually had to go an asylum because he wanted to kill my grandmother. he was super paranoid, aggressive and nothing like his formal self. that was almost ten years ago and he still doesn’t know who i am most of the time. most days he doesn’t look in the mirror because he doesn’t recognize himself and gets confused. so there really is a chance her brain damage could have caused her to behave in weird ways.
I think the backstory needed more than part of a chapter cuz it felt very much like the author kept trying to one up themselves just for the sake of it. The extent of her memory loss was very unclear and felt way too "neat" whereas brain injuries are usually the opposite. It makes the trauma also feel like "decoration" to make the character interesting instead of actually exploring how that affected the character and how they coped. Maybe we'll get more later, but this felt too much for 1 chapter

Ok i think i know why im struggling so much with the sec scenes. Josh is almost always making the exact same face.
i get what you mean like the art is great but the facial expressions are so bland….
I get this too! It's almost weird because you see so many emotions flow through Chase throughout their sex scenes but the same ole expressions on Joshua. Like I guess you can tell who's the author's fave to draw lol
So true! Like idk y chase's face is so much more expressive with the tiniest changes, meanwhile josh is always :o
