Wow Chanwoo is literally THE best friend! He noticed DG was down, briught him chicken, gave him real advice, and yet encouraged him to not give up hope while still valuing himself. You go Chanwoo these are two golden guys right here. Too bad they're both ukes and not romantically interested in each other haha
I totally understand Hyesung is in a really tough situation, but he's so manipulative! Only when he lets himself be vulnerable to Dojin do I remember he's actually not bad. Also, I think this universe is just the omegaverse version of the If You Hate Me So Much universe! There was a part where I saw Sungjoon and whatever his partner's name is (sorry I forget already!)
But otherwise I'm ashamed I didn't find this piece earlier I love it!
It's so sad the poor translator dropped this because she specifically did not want it on this site :( This was such a great manhwa but in trying to share it with more people it ended up being cut short :(
I mean if a thing exists in audio or visual form and someone in the world has an internet connection, it will be posted somewhere for free on the internet. This has been going on for decades and it's literally never going to stop. Firing her over what someone else did makes no sense and neither does punishing your entire audience (including the people already paying) for what one segment of that audience does against your wishes.
It's just generally bad business, besides, not every reader will have the spare cash to pay for every single issue, or like me, some may not be able to pay period because the broken ass site won't take any of my payment methods, so we go to the free option that works better than what they are charging for. If they want people to pay, they shouldn't punish their fans/customers or employees, they should improve their own site...
I don't really understand why you're getting so upset. I'm saying it's sad because this translator was posting these on her tumblr so they were just as easily accessible as they are on mangago. I only know this because someone in the comments posted a link to her tumblr where she said she really didn't want it posted here. I don't this she was getting paid, she was just doing this out of generosity. I also don't have money to spend reading manga online, so I like reading for free. My point was I just thought it was sad that despite her generosity and explicit wishes, someone still went against that. I know things like this happen, I'm not so naive, but in this case right now where I know more details, I just feel it's sad. I don't see why I shouldn't be allowed to express my opinion without being made to feel as if it's not a legitimate one.
I don’t understand, who got fired??? The person who was doing the english translations was a fan who was doing it for free. She didn’t get fired; she got a cease and decist letter since it got published here. The reason why there are over three different teams that did it has to do with that they had to stop over time due to licensing issues and drama. It might be some time for someone to do fan translations again.
The one who was translating it on tumblr has MOTHING to do with tappytoons or the official translating team.
Who said I was upset? Sure, it sucks and someone pulled a dick move, but when thousands of people are reading something and it's a common practice to post those here, somebody was bound to do it sooner or later is all I'm saying. I thought that this was the official translator or something but the fact that it was just a fan who was practically doing the company's job for them faster and more effectively just makes me shake my head at the company being so close-minded as to try to snuff them out rather than simply bring them on as a part of the team that they clearly need to improve the quality and functionality of their site because it can't even accept visa, debit, credit or PayPal without an error message and I think that needs to be addressed before contacting individual fans working their asses off on something as a hobby to tell them to stop.
For real, their site sucks and having to pay for points and tokens then use those to buy a chapter? Wtf. Everything’s so complicated, i hate it. For tappytoons, it’s all about the money. They didn’t have a problem when the translations were in tumblr but once it got into mangago thats when they drew the line because more people are in this site and have access to it. It sucks. The fan doing the translating was doing a much better job than the “official” translation.
Well, this whole comment section made it sound like the official translator was quitting and the company was cancelling the series because some rando posted it on here, so my mistake. I don't know all the office politics or what have you of someone else's private dealings with some website, I'm just a dude reading comments on the internet.
Yeah, honestly if they just made them monthly subscriptions in the funimation/crunchyroll price range it would be so much better for everyone involved, but you could end up spending like $20-$50 on just one long-running series on there thanks to that dumb system and they won't even take my card, so mangago it is for me.

I love how Harada is like a household name in the yaoi world, like everyone knows to expect something but we aren't always 100% sure what, but it's always something grand
