I had to kill part of my brain to read this cuz damn it's so unsanitary but also I'm not trynna yuck anyone's yum. But I was pleasantly surprised how this kinda explored power dynamics and kinks? Idk if I've ever read anything that encapsulates the mental dialogue that happens thru sex. Sadly, I can never turn off the analytical part of my brain
Ok so i skipped a lot of chapters but 1) how old is Doc Doh? He knew leader when he was a child and he was a doc at the time, so he's gotta be at least in his mid forties now.
2) is this webtoon just about some wild drug fueled gun enthusiast cult? (America, that you?) Idk this sounds hella far fetched to me, mostly because of the ridiculous codenames.
3) Seme likes to set fires and deals weed? I'm sorry but that feels so randomly ridiculous I'm sure there was an explanation buried in the 73 chaps but the first 4 chaps were so ridiculous and explained NOTHING that there was no way I was gonna read all those chapters. I thought things would eventually make sense and ppl would stop acting like literal ghosts but I think I was wrong.
Am I the only one who feels these things? If yes, can someone just give me a tldr of what tf is going on? I'm curious but also don't want to go through all the eyerolling
Doc has a young(?) child so yeah pretty old i think, I honestly didn't realise. I think yes cult but meant to be more like upper echelons of society being able to do and hurt whatever they want bc of the money and power they wield in their circles, which honestly does happen in real life, but ig we'd never know if it was to this extent. Seme's backstory actually does make sense when you read the whole thing, well in the sense that you can see the steps it took to get there.
Only thing I'm struggling with rn is just HOW many times are mc and mj gonna go through the same exact thing of kidnapped and injured before you just leave and try to start somewhere new/figure smth else out, he's met father multiple times now like cmon. I thought this was gonna be the climax but they've left it for later AGAIN, and tbh I'm fully expecting some more serious sa from father towards mc because you can tell from their other work they don't shy away from that AT ALL but I'm not ready, i don't need to see that, i swear we've seen enough lol
The kids are so frickin cute and their past is so sweet it's such a shame he grew up to be a PSYCHOPATH! It's like uke's lesson about all lofe being sacred just flew out the other ear, what with all the people he's killed. Please don't make this into a "isn't toxic seme so pitiful? Forgive him and ship them" ploy
Idk I feel like the real villain in this story was the sister. Uke was very open and honest eith her about his feelings and his relationship with her brother. He didn't approach her, she approached him and said she didn't care about their past. Yeah it was twisted of the uke to marry her just to prove his point that the sister bdidn't value her bro as much as her bro valued his sister, but that doesn't feel anywhere as red flag as forcing ur way into a situationship and then blaming everyone but urself when shit hits the fan.

Ok but it wouldn't be endless anxiety if ur boss wasn't a bitch. When uke said "I just don't know if you really like me" instead of making the uke feel bad and turning it all on him, seme should have said "what can I do to change that?" And then the passive aggressive putting physical distance between them and continuing to blame uke... They'll need couples counseling. Spinoff should be Thursday's Therapist
Yess, that annoyed the fuck out of me. Why act butthurt that uke is insecure about your feelings when you have done nothing to give emotional stability or indicate that you have deeper feelings
Literally! And then the gaslighting omg, that made me so mad
