At the end of season 1, the MC family are deemed traitors (even though they are not), they are beheaded and the MC and his mother are now slaves.
In season 2 our MC see that now that he lost his status and money nobody want to help him even his own old servant. It'd really awful how he id treated ;;
His childhood friend find him and he has to sell his body to him in hope to reunite with his mother.
Later he meets again our ML that has a high status, he seem to be linked to the king.
They form a union of sort and the MC b"betrays" his childhood friend and in exchange the ML find his mother.
She is sick and has lost some of her memories. Unfortunately they are together not for long before she dies and our ML is utterly heartbroken "don't leave me all alone" T-T
He lets himself deperish before our ML comes and save him, he hide him and try to let him regain some confidence and hope for life. They reconcile, make love and as of now there is no other chapter out in korea.
There is going to be a long road to help clear his family name and regain his status(he is still a slave)
