Basically Hye-sung was raped as Dojin thought getting him pregnant would force him to be tied down to him, and because of abortion being illegal in S.K and in his own financial situation, he is forced to become dependent on Dojin. Whether he stays with Dojin and the baby after the kid is born and is no longer physically dependent on him for milk etc who knows. Not exactly a relationship that anyone would deem healthy in real life.

If you look back through the recent pages of comments, people have made translations of their conversation and the contract drawn. I think the gist is basically, when they go to the doctor together, Hye-sung is found to be 3 weeks pregnant. He breaks down, falls to the floor and starts kicking his legs (bit like a toddler having a tantrum). Dojin then persuades Hye-sung to stay with him in the meantime, and give him the baby, as long as he pays for all of the associated costs. As practically, Hye-sung is in no position to afford such high medical fees. Dojin also takes Hye-sung shopping to sweeten him up, just like in "I hate you so much" and he buys him a chanel t-shirt etc.

lol. I get what you mean. This is pretty chaotic, having horror and cute fluff coexisting like that, makes me confused too. All I can say is that the characters feel no remorse for someone getting eaten up alive (and blood splattering) and readers have to somehow adjust to that kind of animalistic world.

it IS yaoi. not the slice of life romance you are expecting tho. take note of the tags if you only want plain romance.

And the thing is, you don’t necessarily have to get used to it. I mean, it’s just normal to get repelled by people’s gruesome death and might even be safer to keep away from overly thrilling stories. I’m afraid my sensitivity’s numbing and dying from too much stimulus from sensational mangas!

The plot of the book puzzles me, how can he go for a girl. That must be really a big misunderstaniding the uke missed while reading it. Or he should read between the lines. ;) :D
