I feel disturbed by all the adoration for this :// (⊙…⊙ )
For me its rather uncofortable as i see a lot of whats happening like rape....
I think ill drop this series because atm its just a big oof for me and i dont feel like it will be addressed anytime soon and waiting for that would take long too if it would even happen.

No its okay, I understand. Its the Sad truth, and yes I have kinda moved to more psychological or romance orientated works and that choice was very much influenced by the tendencies of such stories.
Ive read worse? And dropped them way sooner haha . (⌒▽⌒)
I do understand whats hot about certain situations but actual abuse is disgusting. There are plenty of good smutty works out there too, and yes plenty of straight up horrific stories like *raping smbd repeatedly and they fall in love* . I cant really form my thoughts nor do i want to write an essay but such portrayals are not okay. You could compare this to drawn child pornography too... but then again there plenty of people doing that and sayin its fine :/// (⊙…⊙” )
Tldr . Just because its not the worst of the worst doesn’t excuse it. (And also there are bounds to how much you should sexualize and objectify gay people(i feel like in the fujoshi community has a bit of a problem with this thats why i have moved away from it and dont identify as a fujoshi anymore))
Tldr tldr. Moral standards, where they at ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

of course the portrayal is not okay, but clearly people know the difference between irl and a webtoon. No one's gonna see people with this kind of relationship thinking, wow that's hot, bc we can differentiate reality from fantasy. You can say that, yeah things like this happen irl and it's disgusting how people romanticize it, but can you tell me with 100% reassurance that people would let this slide if it was real? No, you can't even playfully hit a friend without someone from the internet claiming ' abuse' on you

Ya can miss me with that shit boi ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Honestly tho this (romance) drama is over the top and barely scrapes by as making sense.
Like gurl , ik coddled you are so ig u can forget everyone shits their pants around your House and its knights, but still. What r u running away for like a damsel whose love was betrayed #-.-)
Emiel, (ik she was 12+ but why couldnt u have crushed on smbd your own age....) Dont you dare act all brooded like a missunderstood emo -.- : “Ohhh noe Σ(っ°Д °;)っ she saw the side of me i didnt want her to see!!”
I just cant see this pairing as normal :/ so all this reliotionship stuff between them is even more grating. Like yes ik theyre like only ~6 years appart or smth but he looked waaaay older and their position just ... :/// (its basically like falling for a kid u babysit, idk about others but i am rather grossed out by it ^^” no offence)
Im sad i wont be enjoying the story much in the future ╥﹏╥
Okay but Roel has mentioned a few times now that he originally was a woman! I really want to know what he means by that and the story.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I love them and even if it might be a cheap way of making it a hetero pairing i dont care anyone. The characters make the message of loving someone despite such silly things very apparent (=・ω・=)
It means that she was originally a cis woman, even as a holy knight. Her being a man was a lie spread so she wouldn't be pressured to marry and settle down, as woman are. She was basically undercover, although some knights seem to have known, and some of them still joke about her being a man because of how unladylike her lifestyle made her. I think this was explained in the first few chapters?
It was also addressed in the first couple of chapters that Roel was a girl who was just super masculine looking
no i don't think it had to do with undercover she was just masculine looking, and she never went out of her way to say she was a woman
Though her being a woman seems to have been common knowledge since in the latest chapter Sieg remembers being called by other knights to deal with Roel because she was in the men's changing room (which is a problem since Roel is a woman)
Role has always been a woman. She was never a man, but had very masculine features. That is why when anyone ever mentions her as a him, or makes a comment of how she looks like a lady now she tells them she was always a woman and never a man.
I see! I might have to reread the beggining because i didnt catch any of that there :d But yes in the latest chapters it is very apparent
I don't think it was common knowledge, all her admirer-ladies definitely didn't seem to be aware, but I didn't think she kept all her knights in the dark either. They can't have a woman changing in the same room as men no matter how masculine she looks and acts, so the other knights had to have been made aware. But I was definitely left with the impression that not only is it not widely known that Roel was a woman, but also she and the church encouraged the misconception.
Even just logically, there's no other way that someone like Roel, who keeps reminding her knights she's a woman every time they tease her, and is such a sincere person in general, would have let a rumour like that spread unless it was for a purpose.
Yes exactly! Im also guessing from the times she said “I never said i wasnt a woman” that she just didnt comment on it in the past ? But now since its in the air and how she changed theres not much point in keepin up that facade
