I hate harems when the MC is not that likable. I said it, I’m waiting for people to come at me haha…
And unfortunately the author is known for not going into harem tropes. I myself read harem novels and it’s hard to find a good harem comic with likable characters, unless you’re staying for the smut, if they are likable or not doesn’t matter.

And most definitely the Professor and the new plain hot guy are gonna be side couple. I’m rooting for them. I really hope they don’t make this into a love square shit, love triangle most likely…

The ML is also not that likable in my opinion but his good looks and him building a house for his crush make up for it. He’s not the worst ML though.

I think it will be interesting though if there’s more guys coming after Wooju. What makes this story so good and interesting is that fact that the MC is a beta and the MLs are alphas. Usually we get the generic story of a Beta turning into an omega, or there is no beta to begin with and they end up having kids or some bullshit, I rarely come across stories like this and the male leads all being alphas just makes it even better since Wooju is a beta!! So tbh I really want this to be more of a harem story (although I’m rooting for Jiheon x Wooju the whole way)

Eh it’s not really interesting cause beta and alpha are quite common, although not as much as omega and alpha. And it’s also common for guys to chase after the MC so not interesting, and an overused trope.
I feel like this author will turn the beta into omega, if it does, it’s generic as you described.

I just don’t trust alphas with beta because alphas have those pheromones that omegas will be attracted to and alphas will be more attracted to omegas pheromones, whereas a beta has none and the alpha may satisfy their urges with an omega.

i agree too!! like they’re not even thirsting over him because of his pheromones (which he clearly doesn’t have since he’s a beta) but he’s just THAT fine.

I personally dislike him because, although in a different way, he is worse than JJ.
With JJ it was at least made clear from the getgo he has no intention other than sexual gratification. Hee-man however pretends to be the nice guy that likes and spoils you only to ditch you when you catch feelings for him. That's absolute filthy scumbag behavior, to put it VERY nicely.

They are both shitty, just in different ways. But I'd personally prefer being hurt over catching feelings for a bad person rather than being hurt over being lied to in a make belief game for the others entertainment (which can fvck you up mentally for ages btw).

Exactly. JJ is already clear about his intention and does not mince or sugarcoat his words to appeal to Dan. With a guy like him you already know what to expect and can walk away on ur choice. Heesung emotionally manipulates people. He lovebombs them, says and acts like he truly means what he says to them when in reality it's all just a game to him. Once he is bored he drops them off like a rock. Lying and giving hope to someone when you don't mean a thing of it can give that person major trust issues and anxiety.

I honestly do NOT want to know how many poor guys Hee-man actually ruined mentally with those entertainment tactics of his. And if it gets done to someone that already HAS issues they are dealing with, I think things could get super dark real quick too. Not sure if he's filthy enough to care about that being a possible outcome, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he didn't care.

I just hope Dan doesn't fall for his tricks. The poor boy already has had enough bs in his life.

On the positive side, maybe Dan actually manages to make him fall for him instead and he has a rude awakening after hurting Dan and becomes a somewhat decent person from then on. That would be nice, as bad as the journey to there would be....

Toxic guys like Heesung are like a sponge that soak away your sanity and happiness and worse of all they try to play it off like they did nothing and instead try to pin all of the blame on the guy while simultaneously portray themselves like a poor victim. That's exactly how Heesung talked about himself when he was conversing with JJ in this chapter. But the saddest thing of all is that since you were emotionally invested in that relationship even when you walk away , they know that they still have a bit of power over you. They always resort to emotional manipulation, gaslighting and fake tears to rekindle a burnt out relationship and in many cases their exes actually do take them in.
The amount of mental gymnastics that they do to chip off someone's positive energy and make them spiral into depression, trust issues and dark thoughts. This push and pull game is mentally draining.
I hope everything turns good for our doc and I hope Heesung gets defeated himself in the game he is starting to play.

Same, he deserves being the happiest after all those hardships. It would take ALOT for JJ to change to be likable tbh (which is why I hope he looses a fight and has a breakdown and becomes a friendly little lamb after he notices Dan is the only one that stands by him still).
