Man, people here sure do love to blame the victim, don’t they? I’m seeing a lot of comments call Shou-kun stupid for believing Fukusuke but I feel like they might be misunderstanding something about the characters of both Shou-kun and Fukusuke.
Shou-kun is first and foremost a very empathetic character who is easily guilted into things. He’s rough around the edges but he’s fundementally a good person and Fukusuke knows how to take advantage of that. He knows that Shou-kun is weak to tears.
Fukusuke is an expert actor and manipulator. One could say that he almost always knows what to do to get his way.
We also have to remember that Shou-kun doesn’t have the insight in Fukusuke’s mind that we as an audience do. He knows that Fukusuke has done horrible things and is obsessed with him but he isn’t aware of the extent and scale of Fukusuke’s actions. Unlike us, Shou-kun can’t read Fukusuke’s mind.
Sorry for the rant but it annoys me that people are calling Shou-kun stupid for being manipulated by a master manipulator.

Well, that certainly came out of nowhere. I am sure there were so many other ways to bring the characters closer together. It feels like it was only put in because the author has a fetish for that sort of thing...
I mean I’m not necessarily against Gang Rape being in manga but it just feels super forced and doesn’t fit in at all with the tone that was previously established.

I’m not gonna lie, the dad is super fucking hot. I’m almost disappointed that the story isn’t about him instead

Honestly it isn’t that Jinha hasn’t made any stupid decisions in their relationships as he quite obviously has some serious trust issues and is too possessive to be healthy but he still manages to come off as sympathetic because his past explains why he acts like that and the rest of his personality is likable.
Siwon doesn’t really have much of a reason to act the way he does. He knows how Jinha is and what he’s gone through and he still never thinks about stuff like that for a second. He’s much too quick to turn on Jinha and rarely ever shows him the kindness, warmth, and compassion that Jinha obviously wants from him.
Jinha would be difficult to be in a relationship with but Siwon makes all the wrong decisions and is making the relationship miserable for the both of them.

I was really liking this manga at first but eventually all of the contrived misunderstandings and idiotic selfish actions of one character in particular began to tire me out. I saw some spoilers and it doesn’t look like it’s going to get any better so I’ve decided to drop it.
I’ve only really been reading for Jinha anyways and I really can’t stand seeing how much Siwon doesn’t seem to care about him anymore.

I’m not even finished reading it all yet and Nayeon already leaves a sour taste in my mouth. There’s nothing wrong with wanting sex but I wish she’d be more considerate of the fact that Noah has been raped before and is in fact, still being raped regularly. Having sex with her isn’t some magical trauma reset button.
Sex should be a goal but ideally Noah would be the one initiating things and being in control. Nayeon only seems to care about Noah on a superficial level and has no interest in even considering going without sex or letting Noah be the one to take the lead. It’s also that she only seems to have sex with him. They never just go on a normal date or cuddle on the couch or something and I think doing those things would be really beneficial for Noah.
I know I’m rambling but I just feel really bad for Noah and wish Nayeon would treat him better.

At first I didn’t really get why everyone was hating on Siwon as it seemed reasonable to not make the right decisions out of fear but now I’m starting to get annoyed with him too.
I don’t think he realizes just how much Jinha needs him and he really should try and be at least a little more understanding. He’s really hard on Jinha. I would have thought he’d try and be more considerate after everything they’ve gone through. Jinha is kind of an intense person but I feel like he only ever gets worked up because Siwon always handles situations really poorly.
I don’t want to dislike Siwon but I’m starting to feel really bad for Jinha.

I feel like he has to be the childhood friend because otherwise the things he knows about Woojin and the whole flashback with him in the hospital would make absolutely no sense. I feel as if the last chapter was just the author trying to make the audience doubt Hwon.
If he was the beggar than that would leave the story with some extremely major plot holes.

I know he was only a little kid with major issues but when Woojin ran away and left tiny Hwon to his “death” I couldn’t help but be pissed.
It’s understandable why he ran away but he never even checked to see if he survived or not. That scene with Hwon as a kid in the hospital fully expecting Woojin to have visited him was brutal.
I have no idea how to feel about the characters in this. They’re objectively kind of horrible people but I feel so bad for both of them.

Of course Im anxious for the hiatus to be over but her mental and physical health can and should come first.
Still, this is such a good story and I can’t wait for more. The couple is so adorable. I really don’t want anything bad to happen to them.
