MC - Jin Hyoseop
ML - Andante
- YES. It is one of those tropes. Lol
- the thing ML mentioned he forgot in the previous SS dungeon is a dèad body (it actually belongs to a previous SS-guide who entered the SS-dungeon together with all S-espers and 1 SS-esper)
- The previous guide (Ano) is ML’s brother (younger brother?)
- The previous guide’s name (Ano) is related to the guild’s name (Noapi) (jumbled letters of PIANO. This is Ano’s codename) and the reason for their existence is him
- Ano was also Coda’s lover (quiet guy with glasses)
- MC has a traumatic past where-in he was locked up by his ex-esper (Detri?) and abused (dunno if it’s sexual or what) and that esper went berserk (?)
- MC was saved by other esper (Detri’s brother) who fought with his ex-esper. However, they both died. (Felt bad for the esper who helped MC :( )
- The tattoo in MC’s chest is like an imprint from his ex-esper (maybe ML already has an idea on this?)
- MC ran away from ML (first due to gawd forgot his name but he’s the guide white long hair - introduced as ML’s friend. Anw, him influencing MC. No. Detri's brother did not save Jin Hyo-seop. Detri's brother was the leader of the guild BETHEL who went berserk during the appearance of SS-Class dungeon 10 years ago, and Jin Hyo-seop couldn't save him because it would require sexual guiding but he was still a minor that time. Detri used this reason to gaslight and guilt-trip Jin Hyo-seop and eventually made him his guide by marking him on the chest. Eventually, due to work related things, Detri needed to temporarily leave Jin Hyo-seop alone in the house who knows nothing about the outside world so Detri made Wren visit MC to check upon on him. Wren discovered that Detri was abusing MC so he vowed to save MC in any way he could. Wren was the one who saved Jin Hyo-seop.

The author still has a lot room for inprovements on his fighting style drawing. Most of the time, I can barely feel that they are fighting.

The usual issue in BL - lack of proper communication. Is it really hard to open up to your loved ones? esp if you guys are childhood friends? Shouldn’t that be easier? (Or, maybe some people will say No)
Agree that Miya/Sou is a possessive type so there’re red flags esp when he doesn’t think of Touma’s feelings (they should talk it out if they want to come out or not) - well, it’s good in Reboot they managed to be open with each other.
Touma’s insecurities too. His character is okay for someone with that kind of flaws. I’m just wondering why it seems that he doesn’t believe Sou’s feelings for him in Reset but in Reboot - he believed him. (I don’t understand some of the conversations in vol2 since it’s in JP but I think he realized something when Minase said something to him)
Maki - I read on some comments that he’s a good guy. I agree half of it. But the other half - nah. He’s a good friend however he also has flaws. When Touma talked to him regarding his problem, the solution he said is to break it off since they were not happy.
Chapters before that, it shows he started harboring feelings to Touma so this kind of comment has slight personal feelings involved (IMO). Then, after 6 months he confessed to Touma lol (this is in Reboot btw)
(Maybe to some that’ll be their comments but I think he could’ve suggested to talk it out with Sou first then those 2 can figure out something and if not then that’s it)
Some of his actions show how he feels too (this was noticed by Minase too in Reboot - example - patting the head of your friend— in a diff kind of way— that’s why it’s a lil understandable if Sou will be jealous lol)
Anw, it’s cliffhanger here but in Reboot he properly explained it actually. He said to Minase that what he had in mind is for those 2 to (somewhat) cool their heads off then go back together however it did not happen.
Minase - I actually like this character. Btw he’s a chara in Reboot but I will just include him here. I think he was created to give advice to all of them lol. Touma was comfortable talking with him and he was the one who talked to Sou about confessing what he really felt. (Follow-up by Maki). He was also the one listening to Maki when he admitted that he was the one who destroyed those 2.
Anw, too long hahahaah I still think the last part where Sou said to Maki “thank you for destroying it” is something in the positive side. Hahahaha that’s what I thought. Okay, next please. Need some fuwa fuwa.
