i cant believe everyone here has no problem with the age gap..maybe 7 years is not a lot as adults but if they have known each other since one of them was eleven it is huge and i cant imagine it happening in a non-creepy way

7 years can be a lot but doesn't have to be. At age 16, having someone 7 years younger would be age 9. That's too much of an age gap. At age 25, 7 years younger would be 18. Which is still a bit on the high side but acceptable imo. At age 30, 7 years younger is 23, and at that point I'd say it's fine. It's all about how old both are.

iris is such a mary sue?? how does she manage to do all of these things she can make hair products design stuff manage her company etc like i get its supposed to be unrealistic but this is too much not to mention everyone who meets her loves her basically

Well the chocolates easy if you know how to ferment it, then I think you roast it and it turns into a paste. And the hair products there's a lot of ways, it just depends on your hair type and how you make it, like clay can add moisture but other types strips and dries it out. Shea butter and coconut oil is good and during this time period soap/cochi nuts and different flower oils make really good shampoo they're pretty abundant in the fantasy realm

i'm not that ambitious but there are people out there who are supermen and superwomen who seem to have 5 lives mushed in one. Need to have good project management, delegation, efficiency, an excellent working force and an excellent network. For sure that's not all there is but these seem to be some key things that Iris has nailed down plus her past life knowledge and wisdom. She was handed an opportunity in this new world and made a lot out of it; with more to come I'm sure. And she's more humble than the arrogant male equivalents that there are so much of.

For the chocolate, she only discovered the ingredient in the world. But she left it to the chef to whip up their version of chocolate. Plus, anyone with the internet could have searched up how chocolates are made on the internet (I have cos i was bored), and just relay the steps to the workers who have had experience with fermenting and all that stuff. They probably did trial and error as well to produce their own version of it. Plus, the designing of the dress, she just sketched out what she wanted and ordered the designers to replicate it.
I wouldnt jump the gun that she's a mary sue. she just hustles well

Sometimes you're just curious about things. I also create my own hair products, cosmetics and other things. I like to cook and I know how to make cacao powder to add to drinks, cacao nibs, vanilla extract, pasta, flours, cheese and other things. I also know how to dye clothes with plants, repair basic electrodomestics, give first aid (and take blood pressure, inject), and so on. It just depends on what you are interested in and what you need.
I am a teacher, so I do these on my free time (usually on weekends) and I do it because I think it's much cheaper than buying.
We are in an era we can learn a lot just searching on Internet ;)

can someone explain the drama to me? i dont think the translation was that bad (although i skipped reading 41 and the extra)
yeah it was unnecessary and the note was borderline rude but i dont get why people are getting so pissed
its not like anything bad will happen bc of this early (unofficial) translation esp if its getting replaced

I think the trigger was really the rude note, without it the situation wouldn’t get so crazy. She posted the first chapter here, people complained that it was bad and they would rather wait for the officials to be uploaded, and then she got mad and wrote that note as if we should be glad for her unwanted translations.

People weren't as pissed when uploader posted the first translated chapter. They just told her that the translation was bad. The effort was appreciated but most suggested that posting chapters translated like the first was not needed. It was mainly the uploader's mean-spirited response to the suggestions and criticism that got on everyone's nerves.

Why do people ship the second love interest with random side characters who also get rejected? I hope Joowon does NOT end up with Leo. He needs to do some growing on his own, and to a smaller extent, so does Leo, but that doesnt mean they should be together imo. two wrongs dont make a right (hope i dont come off as aggressive bc now that i read it it kind of does)

i dont understand how people are saying this manhwa is not a cliche.
i love reading it because i have the feeling that haesoo is ending up with taku.
i dont see any "deeper layers" to joowon.
yes, haesoo is also slightly at fault but joowon is a full-on disgusting lover and is the typical obsessive asshole step-brother in a lot of yaoi
this was amazing!!
the only thing is that i wished we knew more about seonho's family..like even when they were talking about getting accepted his parents were never addressed
