The writer gave some serious foreshadowing in the previous chapter that Guwon wasn't who the MC thought he was The MC wished he had never kissed Guwon the first time., because it caused something bad to happen.

Lmao it's the translator's job to recognize that a Korean word or phrase doesn't make sense in English and may require some alterations. Very few languages can simply be translated directly to English using a machine without any alterations, which is why machines don't actually replace good translators.
"It's a Lotto" obviously doesn't make sense in English, I don't have to know any Korean to know that doesn't make any sense because I fucking speak English. "Jackpot" is a more appropriate phrase since Rino is talking about his partner's house being huge and him clearly being wealthy (as in he "hit the Jackpot.)" There may be other more appropriate phrases, but I know "it's a Lotto" makes no fucking sense, and "Jackpot" makes sense. It's not rocket science.

So, this is considered the most depressing version of the story but it's also more confusing. In the original manga, the story is told in a way that is mostly understandable, with a few loose ends. In this manga, stuff happens and is never explained. Some of these things make no sense at all, especially the ending, which is bonkers. The characters' behavior is also extremely over the top, to the point where it can't be taken seriously. I strongly recommend reading the first volume before this one since there's a LOT of things from it that aren't explained in this one.
