Considering that the “kid” is a 20 yr-old adult, I fail to find the “creepiness” that some of the other commenters are talking about. Like you, I find it cute and fluffy and sweet. The seme is so smitten. I think they will make a cute couple.
Apparently he is 17 (I suppose we don't have a very precise age but he might be a 3rd year in high school) and the guy is 30 something, at first I didn't care much about the way he looked at him tho i did find it very weird, the character himslef keeps on repeating "he is just a kid" as if to remind himself that the guy is a minor
After thinking about it, it feels like the author wants to highlight the fact that there is a minor and an older man here, idk, but personally, there were like 2 times i felt like "why the hell is he looking at him like that" the rest was cute tho. I also think they will be very cute together, i just hope he will wait until he is of legal age to start anything more than kisses~

Actually, he can. Asian people in general calculate age in a different way to Western countries. A baby is one year at birth, and then gains another year at the new year, so it means you can have up to two years in difference to the Western age.
So for us he may be 18-19, but in Japan he actually is 20.
This! And also, in Japan, calling someone a minor usually means they're under 20, not under 18. The age of consent is generally 18 in most places in Japan, though.

HOLD UP! am I the only one who thinks there is something wrong with the story I feel like we skipping a lot of things and there is to much Flashbacks in the past.... somethings lacking I don’t know if this is the right word to describe it but imma still say its DETAILS I dunno but the story lack DETAILS and the art style don’t get me wrong it’s good but it lacks ACTIONS kinda like MOVEMENT uugghh so hard to explain... but there is something off .... if your gonna show a girl reincarnated as a baby and then all of a sudden the next chapter will be like “ 7 years had past this is my brother this is my sister this is my mother this is my father and I’m doing my best to show my importance to my father so that I wouldn’t get engage to an unknown prince....*flash backs* —etc” like bruh wtf?...... __
