Just my thoughts…
I get both sides, I mentioned this somewhere in the comments before on another section about the choices made behind the scenes for how a story gets revealed to an audience. I’ll start off by saying, yes the emotional build-up was lessened in places that take away from what the characters are going through and it’s saddening when it doesn’t seem like it would cost too much to do. It happens so often when deciding what to depict from a book or novel. I do think a person who only reads the comic will maybe emphasize and feel what’s given, then when reading the book/novel understand the weight of what’s missing or could have gone deeper. I do wish for some of the deepness that may have not been hard to depict. In this case I’ve only read the comic, without the spoilers I understood that the FL was taken advantage of by those who should love her, then thrust in a storyline where her character who was also used by “family.” The way the Edith character was created she suffered in silence, while the OGFL eventually got people to protect and genuinely love her. I thought no matter what the other 12 Ediths did they were doomed to a sadistic end, while everyone but the OGFL were under different levels of brainwashing. I think what the comic does well is how the brainwashing to force a certain view or storyline involves a mental battle, like Edith being a snake or seductress for Killeon. He had to fight the messages flowing into his brain, while Cliff chose not to fight and submit willingly to them. I like how the duchess psyche was portrayed as she wanted to be a fair and kind mother in law to both daughters but something kept getting in the way. I felt the sadness from the clear favoritism between Killeon and Cliff to the point that Killeon needed to break free from his family with the unexpected love, how Edith wanted peace but truly came to love not only Killeon but a few others at the duchy and chose not to run. It does seem kinda last minute to know what the author went through especially when I’d rather see the reunion. (⊙…⊙ )

I like the gender-swap, and think this could very well had went on longer with Ruble being one of the best red riding hoods around…he’s so hot. This story really grabs your attention in more ways than one.
Just some questions/thoughts
How do people become knights in this world, what was the spirit that brought her, are there other wolves? How was Kamui not influenced by Ruble’s sexy allure, usually that’s the first thing people notice…and she was so desperate to get home she couldn’t strategize at the least. If you want a person to lower their guard how bout taking a long break from stealing something they keep a close watch on. I’d probably lose track of going home in my attempts to win the steal the hood, then somehow I’d want to steal a heart. I know it’s a serious crime…lol( ̄へ ̄)

Just a little disappointed/spoiler
I like how for one partner the FL is possibly the best female role-model he's had since he's used to dating older women who use him for his youth and don't actually care about him. But in this chapter and before its clear he's mischievous and has some rivalry with his best-friend, her second partner may not be in despair about FL missing his sport competitions, but they mean a lot to him and the fact that she believes in him. I knew that massage would lead to lots of sex that meant missing one of the sports competitions, so why not tell him after even if he give puppy dog eyes.

What does handsome smell like? This made me laugh but contemplate as well...(⌒▽⌒). At the beginning, I realize just how common child neglect/abuse is in ancient times being that there were no rules in regards to children's rights or welfare. The cycle of poor to non-existent role-models continues and the stupidity I find in illegitimacy often baffles me. I get that "word is law" to those who have power but these children have nothing to do with their birth, their moms may not have any say and most likely have no option for birth control, and why was it never considered that royal/nobel families who get educated need to know something about parenting or children-rearing if they're expected to have heirs, especially when they are so young and lacking in knowledge or affection themselves as children.

The beginning started with the FL wanting to know something no one else was as worried about when reading the main storyline. Did the OGFL love the ML? What was the abyss she was doomed to suffer in at the hand of the person she brainwashed? We all know inquiry into any character may mean you get transported to that world.
*spoiler and thoughts…*
She got more than she bargained for, but as I read more (the initial chapters) she’s tormented by her own family and wanted to steal affection, someone whose very existence relied on her for semblance of any comfort, then that person would end her. There’s in-depth parts in this. Both the OGFL and ML were disregarded. When there’s abuse like this I just hope for healing for the victims and for them make sense of the world.

Ch. 8 was *chef’s kiss* love how she stood up for her people and was yet again attempting her “villainess divorce scheme.” ヾ(☆▽☆)
*spoiler*
Ch 14 explains POV of emperor and honestly even though the OGFL was written as frugal and sweet. She never stood up for the empress or challenged the emperor on her mistreatment, so like him she always has ulterior motives. However, it interest me this whole falling in love for the possible first time, he liked OGFL but I don’t know if he loved her. It seems he’s truly attracted to someone who doesn’t just do what he says and is just a good empress, but one that challenges and within reason does what she wants, throw a dash of strategy in. #-.-) still makes me sad about the OG Robella.

Okay hear me out, what if she did die in the original story but it wasn't the way that the story was written, what if it was a high priest that killed her, and in order to hide his crime by some weird power, he wrote the story in a way that made it seem like it was the emperor's fault and that he was the one that caused her death? Because he's trying to manipulate the story for some reason? What if, the real story was that she had died and was reborn in the real world and lived her life as you know, a regular person, where she gained herself worth and knowledge and became somebody who wasn't going to be pushed around anymore, then she is returned to wear her soul originated from? So now, she is back to the beginning but as I said, she doesn't have memories of her originally being there, just what she's read, and what she may have read in the story may have been manipulated by the priest and it might not be 100% authentic. For some reason they're stuck in some kind of time Loop or something. So Hear Me out, what if the emperor was also manipulated? Like this priest guy is not what he seems. What if this priest guy, now this is where it's going to get confusing but I'm just guessing here because I have not read the novel or anything like that. But what if this priest guy has been looking for this reincarnated soul, and he needs her because, he thinks that she belongs to him or something? He just doesn't know that she's the reincarnated soul but he's starting to get suspicious and he realizes that she could either give him power or dismantle his own world that he is manipulating? I know this is a long answer but I just get the feeling that this priest guy may be more than what he seems and that rubella is not just some ordinary soul. So the emperor in the story, hadn't done those things to the original empress, it was just written that way and he has no idea what had happened in the past life or something?

Your deductions make sense. I’ve definitely seen a soul go temporarily to another world just to return to its origin world. The high priest mentioned regression, so something keeps going wrong and the empress can’t be in the picture. I think based on his overall feel that he may be a god, powerful demon, maybe he really is making a major sacrifice to a dark deity, I’m just unsure why these puppet rulers are needed. I definitely didn’t see him being the main antagonist and the FL signing a contract with, she really has no power on her own. I do wonder how it’ll all work out.(Side note :I really want the the duke to be able to raise his son, what’s the orphanage like, on some level he must want to live with his dad even if people are cruel)

Justice for Robella! like what the FL said...I didn't even see any traditional/cliche signs of villainess who insults or harasses the OGFL. Obviously, the FL doesn't know that when you empathize with the antagonist/villain/villainess you may just end up being that character. She was an empress whose only sin seemed she loved the emperor too much, if anything this could have been a nice throuple scenario. I agree with others the emperor had no reason not to grow to love the OG empress...I wish there would be some genuine building of trust and apologies. There won't be but that would be surprisingly good for emperor's character, while I'm sad that the OGFL is gonna be nasty overall.

Im impatient so Im waiting until the story catches up with the first chapter's future where the FL's new and actual family is smitten with her. I understand but it pisses me off with these storylines where the child is blamed for killing their mother (maybe at first because of the grief) but when the whole household does it it's heartbreaking. Also, it makes me long for some kind of respect for actually being a good older sibling or child, its terrible when you see a child literally get away with everything, then what happens when they commit major crimes or murder? Oh no, what happened...I didn't raise them this way?! You're right, you didn't raise them at all you sorry excuses for parents. Anyway, I love how the children can open up and actually have a childhood with the addition of the FL and look forward to her and her husband believing in people again.
Like that everything is going smoothly, and at the same time I had a suspicion that the FL would think she could easily throw away all that married talk as soon as her older bro was in the clear. I hope it doesn’t take too long for her to realize that she either really likes or loves Zerkan separate from saving her older bro.
Well, its already established that she is selfish and only think that she is in the novel that she can take it for granted. The way she react to the Prince abused proves that she did not think that the event is serious.
Yea, there’s often a way of distancing that happens when someone is transported to a world that they’ve read about or played through in a game. If the person was just transported to another world they knew nothing about they’d have far less knowledge about its world and people but would understand that everything is their reality…there may be no way to go back…and allow themselves to care more. She had convinced herself that Zerkan was a psycho at first, then like you said she saw the child abuse/neglect and tried to indirectly help him by appearing as an average child having outbursts or consoling him by using a flower that had to go through a lot but is still beautiful, she even gave him a jewel that fathers give their sons. I don’t think she would have tried so hard of not for the OGFL or her older bro, which makes me sad for Zerkan but he got a better life so at least there’s that.
She and her little agenda. I kinda love Zerkan more than her right now.
