Usually when people are isekaied or reincarnated with the experience of their past lives they get to be wise beyond their years and lavished with praise. But with this reoccurring penalty that makes her act the age she is currently filling her past experience…I think it gives her an added edge that she needs to be a member of her family and prove herself while still having moments where she’s acting her age. It has helped her resolve the misunderstanding with her dad since a child often blurts out their thoughts and feelings, but with her mastermind bro Aries and the tsundere Ishion there was a need for both sides of her. It was a wonder to behold Aries joining the fold.
First there’s a much appreciated rescue from that dashing Devil, then he shows that vulnerability that he actually seems to really love his mother in his own strange way knowing she may never find it in her to love the Devil himself. I saw the opening for Hilda to say (even if she didn’t 100% mean it) I wouldn’t abandon you young master. Those darn good looks! Anyway, I felt Hilda’s frustration I’m sure she planned and thought through the list she prepared just for him to act like she’s the real baddie. It made sense what he said he loves nature, classical music, and I guess his mom. Hilda even considered killing her friends, I was so shocked. I’m guessing strangers or criminals may be the only ones the Devil approves of to kill. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
I get it it’s supposed her world where everyone adores her, but literally the only person that’s saving her from Duke Crawford’s curse and impatience is his fiancé, Angelina. OGFL’s ego and arrogance is so huge she can’t recognized genuine concern for a person’s well-being and she’s been far too sheltered. Honestly, it doesn’t seem like the crown prince even likes her it’s just politics at least the duke really likes Lina and it’s going toward love.

I don’t know how I just realized but both Hilda and Adrian have high self-preservation instincts, I realized them individually but they’re both doing what they think they have to survive.

Hilda says this is all a game and the people don’t matter, but if that’s the case why prevent Adrian from killing? Why care for Pricilla? She knows the friendships and life she has at the manor had begun to become more real to her. As for Adrian who never truly trusts anyone, but he trusts that they’ll be true to their desires…that’s a very Devilish thing to say but also very lonely. Now with someone knowing his secret in full this is looking like the beginning of a dark romance. And I wonder how much his interest has increased if she can be his right hand?

I was shocked and even teared up a little. Adrian’s all about self-preservation but man that was Antarctic cold and calculating how he forced Hilda to reveal her secret and get her into massive trouble. I thought he was enjoying their little game of pretending he’s not the Devil, and my thoughts would have been to recruit my “natural enemy” so that she becomes an ally not an enemy. Should Hilda had worked harder at gaining his interest, I think it may have made him think twice at least. All I can say is I hope he does regret sending her off to her death or whatever bad fate awaits her…I think even if he thrives he’ll be bored with people sucking up to him all the time. Welp, my idea that demon huntresses are on the way may not be too far off.

There is real trauma/grief for the FL with her mom’s suicide that’s blocking her childhood/teen memories which I understand. ML could tell her about their past, maybe after the second time he asked her about smoking she could think that maybe we smoked together…he treats me differently from an employer because he knew me before and genuinely really likes me now. I thought the worst you can say after sex is, “this was my mistake or this was a mistake…” we didn’t say how much we enjoyed the sweet potato and the ramen. I got more why ML wants nothing to do with his family from the bruises he had in her memory, now he’s someone no one wants to mess with.
It’s like watching a crash in the making. it can’t be good that we still don’t see the Hana lookalikes face or know anything else about her. If Pass makes a contract with her at some point she’ll run into Hana or Lux and the lady will think did he only have sex with me because I look like her? The next chapters in Pass’s love life may be hard to watch.
Ch 44 had me laughing from her full on analysis of politics being words that cut, to her heavenly eyes, and how Aries is closer to being a true brother.(づ￣ ³￣)づ
I was really soaking up the encouragement that the FL was giving the MLs…I mean the world of athletes is often cut-through and when they aren’t able to meet performance or weight goals or get seriously injured it’s like all their hard-work didn’t matter. I loved how she told the more serious ML that trying his best is all that matters and that he can easily be a professor or coach…the same with the cheery ML.
Seeing is not believing when denial is present. I was thinking FL wanting to mate with her same species is expected plus she watched the ML grow-up, so she never planned on seeing him as a mate and there’s the fact that he’s an apex predator. But, she watched ML masturbate while calling her name and he even invited her in…and is “holding back” till she comes around. They both will live a long time, have an age gap, and there’s no way he’s allowing any other male anywhere near her. There are some positives, he does genuinely care for her and considers her family, he’s thoughtful of her needs, and makes for a great protective.
Doya’s pouty face is adorable, my wish is that So Won will slowly pick up on his little gestures. He’s seeing that there’s something special about her linked back to his prophetic dream and suddenly being more foolish for her.

I like finding out more about supernatural politics and social constructs. I hope to see werewolves, fairies, and wizards, and there is complexity with a whole human being born from angel parents like Jyheun (blondie) or a demon in an angel family like Doya where his uncle is an angel. And I’ve been thinking about the FL’s father possibly being an angel…so maybe hybrids don’t exits in this would you’re one or the other? Also what was interesting was Doya’s narrowing down what his dream meant: sexual attraction (nope), curiosity (unsure), love (there was an image of what looked like another woman—past love?) I like that the FL is spontaneous and she used first-aid. When she made her wish isn’t word to the wise to be more specific, it was kinda funny how lighthearted she made exchanging a soul for a wish.
When I was reading the summary, and I may be totally wrong since it’s been forever since I read Romeo and Juliet. Even though R + J’s story is classic, what always stood out to mean is that R was supposedly head over heels in love with another girl before Juliet ever came into the picture. I think her name was Rosaline, then when he saw Juliet all that love evaporated…I mean not only was it teen love, family fued, but how strong can your love be Romeo if you fall so quickly? So maybe this is the untold story of the girl all but forgotten.
I’ve heard the saying but ML is a real one! It always gets me when someone says don’t leave the hickies visible, in this case wouldn’t it sell their mad love to everyone? Also like the moments when we get to hear the FL thoughts and the ML thoughts for extended times. For instance, the FL likes the ML’s intensity and is drawn to him like a moth to a flame and so is the ML. ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
It seems that only Seria is concerned about Lina… I’ve seen it commented and I thought something is very wrong with whoever reincarnated/isekaied as Lina or even if that is the OGFL because dark vapors coming off in droves does not usually mean the divine. She saw it again in the temple, yet she keeps thinking that she needs to help her. Let her sink on her own and don’t worry your poor husband that literally handed you a weapon to kill him should he even think of marrying Lina. And don’t get me started with the 2nd ML…you blew two prime chances to be with Seria and now you’re over here getting contaminated by your obsession…boy please be with your wife when she returns. I love that when it comes to the FL he blushes and gets so adorable, I bet his mercenary friends would have a heart attack. I think her story about how she lost her childhood memories is what happened and I hope he recovers the ones with him at unexpected times, so he can be, “wait you remember that?” ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
One minute I’m meeting the emperor again and the crown prince who I really hope gets healed by Ayrin (lil dumpling)…next we’re talking about a personal tutor. Can we finish one thing first author, the adoption issue is still ongoing as well.
I know there’s some real psychological stuff happing for both the ML and FL. I think the father staged the FL’s mom’s suicide and tried to convince her and mental clinicians that she was mentally ill, so she’s right to get a bodyguard at the least. The ML gave the impression to me that yes he’s dangerous but he’s constructed an image so that others don’t hurt him as easily, especially emotionally. His sweet tooth seems to contrast with his image which I always like and it would make me curious about him overall.
Lux is the sweetest and I’m glad he’s finally tasted happiness/peace in literal centuries…he’s claimed and all is at ease. But finally we check in on Pass and we see an unusual occurrence…a lust demon completely unsatisfied during an orgy. I didn’t know how he’d be with the distance from Hana and silent suffering…now that Lux is more grounded is there a possibility for a second partner? Ch 73 is bittersweet. ╥﹏╥
