Im glad this now have higher ratings. When I read this last year ratings were just 9.1 and I felt it was so underrated that time considering how good the story was. The character devt of both ML and MC are very evident even if it's just almost 50 chapters short. I feel the only thing that's missing is Mr. Ha's family background or probably closure with Mr. Ha's ex first love, but that just what i think. The story is still very good without it.

So it looks like Taekyung since right from the start kinda knew or have a hunch that his Mom had something to do with Heeso's mom death but just declined the thought bec of his fear that he will be out of the family or left alone again if it happens to be true. So basically his 'help" for Heeso is PARTLY part sense of responsibility for guilt of keeping his mouth shut and fulfilling Heeso's mom wish to look over Heeso. I feel Taekyung is selfish on this part coz he he wanted to carry the guilt of saving his mom but dont want to carry the guilt on leaving Heeso behind just like that (next chapter he wants Heeso to leave resulting to Heeso stabbing him yk yandere thinking - if you leave me might as well you be dead).
Heeso already said he doesnt care anymore who killed his mom coz that has been long ago, so long as they stay together. Tbh I see that true coz all his life he never investigated his mom's killer. He just happend to do it bec he is following Taekyung's tracks to find out the reason why he is obsessed to know and things just uncovered one by one bec of it.
This is just fiction probably that's why I can say this but staying with Heeso filled with guilt is just a small price to pay compare covering up his mom's crime. Deep down Heeso knows Taekyung knows who did it but doesnt care anymore. He just wanted Taekyung to be with him and just move on and be self sufficient so that Taekyung will finally see him as a man and not the kid he supported. It was just disappointing coz Heeso was trying to start a new(tho his reasons were kinda off) after all that's happened to him and Taekyung made his world crumble again.
Well Im saying both in the wrong here. Heeso well obvi him being obsessed, but as for Taekyung he tried to play hero then threw the towel just like that. For me, Heeso's life may somehow become better if Taekyung never tried to play hero. He shouldve not been taken by the greedy adoptive family because he was being supported by Taekyung financially. He couldve been adopted into a family who plainly wants him as he is. He will probably have a better life and not someone who became obsessed with his benefactor.
