Not really hating the ex but hey real talk, even if it looks like he is looking after Shinwoo or out of concern, what they are what they will be is none of his business really so he shouldnt be giving any unsolicited advice. Granpa adviced out of concern for Shinwoo that Han will control his life to not let him go(bec he knew Han is really serious about him), ex said that bec he thinks Han will leave him eventually bec he knew him to be not serious and fickle minded. More like badmouthing rather than being concern. I’d say at the current chapter it seems that the ex gave the advice with good intention. Not wanting another person to suffer as he did no matter his short his relationship with Han was should be a norm. it’s not like he told him to break up. It is up to Shinwoo to consider and act upon the advice. And why are people being choosy on who is giving the exact same advice.
I disagree. His advice was neither rude or had bad intention. He just warned him. You can see how sad the ex is. He doesn't want him back, he just remember one side messy relationship and he warns him about the ml's quick changing hearth. And ml has a history too. He spoke nothing but facts. And let's be honest everyone would want to be someone's "exceptional love" but it is really the case in real life. If someone's exes , friends and family warns you about habit of your loved one take it seriously. You can't see it at the start but usually it would be too late when you realize.
