They also cut tons of things here specially the Hwan's grandma part. They didnt even show that Grandma and Haejin already met prior to this. Anyway, read it. It's just almost 80 chap and I cried on a lot of scenes specially the reunion scene

Isao told Kotarou that he loves the Kotarou who loves (loved) Aiko. Isao also said that Aiko might have been his first love. These 2 reasons may have been why Isao is fond of Kotarou talking about Aiko. If Aiko did not come in to their lives they wouldnt have met probably. Kotarou wont be devoted father working in a daycare that he is now and Isao wont be the florist taking over the previous shop. She is like an idol to him. Another is like Isao was portrayed as the kind of person who is not affected by other things but just focusing on what is needed to be done or what's in front of him then do other things later. He is just focused on his shop and making Kotarou like hin that he did not have time to entertain jealousy. Even the time when his father was like trying to get he was firm on his decision not to go back back and ask his father to change his ways. Typically, other authors would make Isao cant refuse their father something like that. He also is good in setting aside his personal affairs in front of his customers. So ig what we are not seeing is that even if he got swooned by Kotarou and asks like a JK in love, he is a capable, focused, stern and confident person. I also think that a non bias Satou by his side and also warning him of "landmines" helped alot.

I was hesitant to read it at first coz yk I thought it was too cliche ish. It was kinda good. Nakano knew what he and Nishi have was special but maybe since he was in denial probs when the classmate was teasing them he got defensive the reason why he jumped into having a gf all of a sudden only to see Kouto replacing his place with Nishi. He really had it hard like realising his feelings too late. You dont know what you got till it's gone.
Nishi's falling inlove with Kouto just like that is relatable. Though some will say he is just a rebound, but he easily moved on or more like accepted it bec he knew it was a lost cause from the start and Nakano having a gf is just the slap of reality to him. He also never had time to dwell bec he had been experiencing things he has never done/had before. Dates, first kiss, talking to other people, being confessed to, being admired. While he was busy closing his world to Nakano and still end up unrequited, Kouto made him realise his worth and what he has been missing out. Made him appreciate and look forward being with Kouto more. Who would not fall in love when someone is giving you the love you deserve.
Kouto making the move when when Nishi was vulnerable was relatable. Who would not take that opportunity right? He knows he can pursue but he is still anxious. Nishi has not declared his feelings for him yet and Nakano is a rival that he will very be insecure of. He has followed Nishi's love to Nakano for 3 yrs and when he finally got the chance seeing them together makes him still feel like an outsider. The fake hang out with a girl was a jerk move but was obviously seeing them together he was eaten by jealousy and wanted to equally make Nishi jealous too to see if he will. They made a promise that they will only have eyes for each other and seeing Nishi with Nakano probably made him feel Nishi dont take their promise seriously. Good thing Nishi thought that his mistake with Nakano not telling him how he really feel before might also be the reason he might lose his new love. This time he is not expecting anything but at least he said it and what Kouto did might be bec he was too late in saying it. So sometimes we really need a certain push and if we do not do the initiative we might just lose then forever. Specially in Nakano's case.
