This chapter is soo touching specially when sullivan was talking abt when he first found him vs now. It also made me realise I started reading this manga during the flying race chapter and look where we at now... Still nowhere damn the climax of the story!! hahahaha
Im happy with this chapter. Sullivan and Iruma (and opera) had moments and family moments before but this is special. Im not sure but I feel that I think that time he felt lacking and helpless.Imagine being one of the 3 greats, but he was shaken and lost focus by just a little chaos. This shouldnt be pervy, but I think seeing Opera knows when Sullivan said the pillows I think Opera sleeps beside Sullivan too, he used to dote on him when he was still in highschool when opera was taken in by sullivan. He looks very defeated maybe it's during those times. On a side note also OUR FIRST TIME SEEING OPERA WITH LOOSE LONG HAIR Also, cant wait with what is up with Ali!!

I like the plot of this story and the personality of the characters (maybe not the manager a little) and I also love the fact that the assassin is the uke. I was trying to nit pick why Im so not into this, then I figured that the story is good but it's missing scenes that shows Taeman as an assassin. Like He was portrayed dangerous and scary but there's not much scenes of him shows that he is an assassin in action. Maybe this concentrated too much on the anxiety of being found out. Im not sure if you'll agree with me but there's a lot of chapters already but I hope there is action and seeing him dangerous, scary and like the actual scenes of him on the job.
oh yeah, i feel that too. whenever i see an action BL, it's more BL than action, which is kinda of a bummer since i love action too. but i think, for this BL, the action part is dragging bc of the relevance of this particular job, bc they're dealing w a much more difficult target and they're planning to do something against taeman's organization, so that's why we didn't see a lot of action up until now.
Thanks for the likes and glad that I ak nit the only one who feels that way in the story. I recently read Mad Dog, Park Hanhoo's Manager and The Faling Merman and that's what I am kinda talking about. There is a balance of action and romance in the story and shows how dangerous the characters are and there are scenes that shows it.
I feel like there are two things to add. First of all the action here is more of a built up and has been, bc the mission is a bigger one for them. But apart from that I do think we have seen quite a lot of scenes of tae man the assassin. I mean it’s not just killing that is his task but all the things around this, we have seen and that’s why I think that adds some more insight or realism or authenticity imo than only seeing him kill someone every few chapters esp considering how they have a bigger fish to fry. But also we have seen him fight and kill a few times. But it makes sense that plot wise this was focusing on them building the relationship then getting together after some hurdles, then having some other hurdles and then finally being happy. And everything is building up for that moment where the stress and being tired of living two lives is making him sleep in front of someone else. Which of course is the horror for someone that sleeps in a closet so that no one can kill him in his sleep. That combined with the job coming closer, is now making the harmony of the last few chapters shift into this. So I actually quite like the pacing like this.
The second thing is that killer crush is in its story more focusing on the life of an assassin when he tries to blend in into the normal and average daily life. And here the focus isn’t even the BL but him trying to navigate two lifes and to not be found out as an assassin as well as him experiencing things he never could growing up. I feel like the charm of this story is exactly that. Bc the other action bl are either like you said more bl than action or the action is there at all times bc the whole context is happening in that world. And in those both lovers are then either both in this world together, or one is in it and the order is then being pushed into it as well or even just comes in touch with this world when they meet for the first time or they are rivals on opposite groups or good vs bad and things like that. But here the whole context is being in the normal world, trying to blend in, focusing on the lives of these assassins that are normal ppl and then assassins at night. Seeing how they live, how they feel. Seeing tae man yearning for something normal, seeing how he found this with dahyeok to then be ripped apart from him. Seeing him not wanting to be a burden, seeing all those weird skills and moments like in the woods on their first date or when the manager almost found them in the bathroom. So I think killer crush is not that comparable imo with most action bl. At least not the ones I know. :) just my two cents I guess

TBH I didnt get most of it(Im not mocking Im just being honest I didnt get it Im sorry) I know where the story is leading, what's currently happening, what they are trying to do with the story and my point is even if I find that good I just feel that action part is lacking. I was stating my opinion that this is not a story that is meant to be action heavy and I was just talking about how for that context the „lack of action“ makes sense. :) Because it’s not playing in this like mafiosi action context but it’s trying to blend in to the normal world :) that’s why i said it makes sense that there’s „not as much action“ (though the next chapters will be full of that part of action from what I’ve seen :))

Oh, so now it's the drama part. This is the good part because it will be the turning point of their relationship. The uke's incapability to be marked is the root cause why they might not have peace of mind in their relationship. So the uke cant be blamed if insecurities will eat him up and push the seme away. No matter how fated they are, or how assuring the seme will be, if there's nothing to fix the seme's condition, what happened to the seme's mom might happen to Eiji. He will contnue to be jealous and insecure the entire time and seme might just throw the towel in time.

Guys, the shitty friend plot is the game changer and turning point of their relationship. Dont be too invested on it. That's how they will realise their feelings for each other. And for those who are saying that the MC is wasted on the ML, they are not in a relationship yet. He is free to do what he wants to do with his life. Whether he wants to get on with another guy he is not cheating. It's just like how you are allowed to have a lot of suitors since you are not dating anyone yet.. And y'all mad at him calling the ML lunchbox? What does he do for a living for a long time? swindle guys into groping them for his luck right? If youre that kind of person you dont invest feelings to your cash cow. Just because he has not caught up with his feelings with the ML makes him not worth of the ML. Preach! I liked it that they are true to their personalities and didnt just magically fell in love. There are already hints like he can't find another guy with the same wavelength as seme which may mean he's realising he is the best there is and I lmao when he asked permission to the guy that he wanted to grope him haha He was not opposed when the rando guy invited him to a hotel coz he was already thinking abt the seme's feelings coz he feels the seme does not want what they are doing and it is better to do it someone willing. Because of his time with the seme he changed a bit.

At first for the second couple, I was like "Oh here comes drama" lol Tho they be typical omegaverse stories, aim glad they were given a slice of their story coz I was curious too of what happened to them why they are toxic af. Now we see that it was MC who made him realise his worth. Let's be real here if you were married off someone you didnt love you wouldnt just go with it. It's not good but it is just realistic tbh. The omega uke wont stop loving the seme and for sure he will forgive the seme, but what made it differrent is he took control of his life, separated himself from Seo's family and regain the confidence he lost so even if Seo will go back to his life, this time it is Seo's initiative and he will now be commited to do everything for them this time.
