All yaois are unrealistic and make no sense but you forgive it for the porn and this story doesn't even have that.
The sex scene didn't make up for everything else. Nothing makes sense here and it really tried to get too deep that the only way for a good ending is that they stopped talking to each other.
It's unrealistic that they just all let it in the past and still talk to souma and that the other two magically fell in true love.
And I don't read yaoi for realism but this story was a little arrogant in how it presented itself as so deep and real. So the ending hit harder and it's a lot more difficult to forgive.
TLDR: bad story and not enough porn to make up for it.

If the characters portrayed are human or not, doesnt change much either, bcs even if we would argue that it only matters what they think, in their own universe geumso's rape was still depicted as something bad, so i dont really know where u were going with this? However thats not a logically sound argument anyway, so the focus remains: while its a worl of fiction, rape is very real and portraying it in any way causes certain connotations in readers. And i am not even getting started on what a sad overused trope it is in yaoi.
