We saw in the flashback when they first met. Seonho has literally done nothing but sacrifice himself for this little leech and Haesoo does nothing but treat him like he's stupid and useless the more the story progresses.

That it turns out the Mika is actually Yu and Yu is actually Mika.
Either way I only feel bad for like, a handful of characters and the rest I couldn't care less for. Learning Urd and Rigr's past from when they were angels had me choking up.
There's so many types of love in this series, I just hope they don't fucking shoehorn Shinoa between Yu and Mika anymore than they already have tried. I don't want this both for Shinoa's sake of not just becoming a clone of her sister and being her own individual self and for Mika and Yu getting to stay together happily.
I know, I know. I'm a filthy fujin so that means ofc I ship MikaYuu and don't want Shinoa getting in the way. There's just something that irks me tho when a series has a badass heroine that died for the sake of her love only to have another female character take up the exact same mantle when she could just break the cycle and be badass in her own way. And tbh I like her dynamic with Mitsuba a whole lot more lol

It's a lil confusing; Mika is alive as a demon now that possesses Yu. A looooooooooong ass time ago they were also alive but somehow during the reincarnation cycle Yu became Mika and Mika became Yu. The OG Yu was made and named by Mika ((I'm like 80% sure on this the plot gets real fucking weird with the time travel shit lol)) and was later on used by the first to create humans.
Tbh, it's probably best you just read it lol everyone is still alive ((except for a few vampires)) so you don't gotta worry about that.
