He gets on my nerves.
Are you traumatized or not? You get pissed off that the dude kissed you and you say hurtful shit like "you triggered my trauma" but then tell him to touch you more??
I've been sayin' it since day 1 but I wanna break his fuckin' kneecaps lol He's used his trauma as a manipulation tactic with his ALSO TRAUMATIZED TWIN BROTHER but now it's oh so convenient that he isn't repulsed by this one dude he works with? Yeah. I don't want Hong to have a happy endin' lol He's been actin' like the biggest victim this entire time and I really want him to get karma'd.
Him and that stupid, dumb as fuck bastard Sho Wang lol

i mean his trauma is pretty valid though... and him not hating the other guy and probably just because he likes him. i don’t like him either for being a bitch to chung but he still deserves a happy ending, him acting a victim is just defence mechanism because he feels like he was left by chung since he doesn’t know the full story.

lol trauma doesn't excuse your bad behavior or the people you hurt. This is somethin' I stand adamantly by irl. It's just a story but that doesn't stop me from dislikin' Hong lol
He has spent the entire fuckin' story manipulating, snubbing and abusing his twin brother who has already been through enough as is. Ignorance is bliss, but just 'cause he "doesn't know" that doesn't mean he can go around treatin' people like garbage lol

i mean he’s a piece of shit that’s for sure and i also don’t think that trauma excuses bad behaviour. but it’s pretty clear that hong is gonna change after this and try to rekindle his relationship with chung, and perhaps even start working out whatever misunderstanding he has with chung. at the end of the day i don’t really give a fuck about him but i think that chung would definitely be happier if he was in good terms with his twin again.
i don’t think he should be compared to sho wang though that guy is on another level of trash.

THE SIDE COUPLE HAS FINALLY MET AND I AM HERE FOR IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!
I've been waiting for these two to finally meet //sobs

THEY ARE ALREADY SO CUTE LIKE-- HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I shrieked so much just seein' that lil bit of interaction I don't think my heart can take this. It is nice tho since I was feelin' so depressed over Cain runnin' off like that. Like, I know that he had to do it for a really good reason-- it just breaks my heart.

And ya'll still haven't shut up or left by now /knowin'/ that this is not some fluffy, feels good series??
We get it. The characters are all fucked and twisted. /Good./ It's what I came for and will stay for. If you don't like it you have the option and every right to drop it and find somethin' you actually like.
If you're not gonna leave and continue to subject yourself to a plot you're not fine with then you do not get to complain. No one is forcin' you at gunpoint to keep reading so stop acting like someone is.
Imagine havin' literally thousands of different titles available to read but you choose to keep reading one that upsets you/you don't like and you complain the whole time.
Couldn't be me lol

So this is a plot checkpoint to kinda clarify some things for everyone reading.
From what I can gather myself it seems like there's a bunch of insurance scandals goin' on including semi-famous/famous people "deaths." Luan's mother was involved in one of these insurance fraud schemes and so was Yul's parents (I think).
Initially Luan wanted to use Yul, since Yul's adopted brother and family have ties to the insurance agency and the entertainment company connected to the insurance agency, but obviously his feelings run much deeper than that now.
I'm not sure about the history between the brothers (the ones doin' all of Luan's detective work while he tries to distract the adopted brother) since it hasn't been revealed yet but I'm guessin' we'll get answers in the near future lol
Feel free to ask questions and I'll try to answer the best I can.
Please for the love of god do not let Chung stay back and make sure he is attached to someone's hip at all times lol
I'm tired.
Agreed! He's becoming too much of a damsel in distress and it's pissing me off
Like, the second time this happened I could understand or maybe convince myself that he had no choice but to obey Chung's wishes-- but now I'm like "SHA HU RONG YOU BETTER BAG THAT BOY UP. IDFC IF YOU GOTTA DRAG HIM KICKIN' AND SCREAMING. SHORT WANG CANNOT BE TRUSTED." lol
I get that Sha Hu Rong wants to obey Chung's wishes and let him do what he wants, but at this point I think protective captivity till Short Wang can be dealt with is a very appropriate option lol
