I could be wrong since I dropped this, but originally our MC was only a fan of the novel (or whatever it is) and had second lead syndrome. She then wakes up one day in the novel and begins her "love story/chase" for Hana- so technically the "original" heroine should be the soul of the MC of the novel before our MC was transported there.
Honestly, im just annoyed by the fact that hari didnt say it upfront that it was lady bitch that purposefully pushed her into the water. If hari was going to call the bitch out on her shit anyways, why not do it in front of everyone so that she gets the worst punishment for her actions? This is coming from someone who is tired of heroines covering up for some degenerate pieces of crap even thought they dont deserve it. Like goddamn it i get that in some cases, its best not to call them out but in her case, it was completely okay to call her out on it. This may seem insensitive of me, and by all means please do enlighten me if you feel like you should. But it didnt sit well with me how the uke threatened to off himself if the seme really broke up with him. I do understand that the uke was in fact feeling vulnerable and that he had a fragile mental state at the time, but it wasnt right how even through that, he was threatening to kill himself to try to stay with the seme while knowing that the seme has a past trauma from his mother killing herself in the past. That was messed up and wrong on all levels. And its not like the uke was completely clueless on what the seme was going through at the time, he witnessed the semes situation himself and didnt have the decency to understand and give him the space he needed. He KNEW that the seme was going through some tough shit yet still pulled that kind of stunt on him all in the name of love and promises. Anyways, the seme did say some hurtful things to the uke as they broke up and he probably didnt have to say a lot of those things. But still, he was legit going through some depressing changes to his life and having a clingy significant other just wasnt what he needed at the time. And now the uke wants REVENGE after hearing about how much shittier the semes life has gotten???? Like- give the guy a break please.

I can totally agree with you in the aspect that it was wrong of the uke to threaten the seme about suicide if he left. Any relationship with that premise is toxic and needs to seek help immediately. Both were definitely going through things such as the uke's suicidal tendencies and his disorder of having affection whereas the seme was struggling financially and on the verge of having his family destroyed. It urked me especially after seeing that the uke was told how the seme's mom tried to commit once. In all honesty, his "revenge" is out-right childish and straight-up wrong. I mean, I get that he is hurt and angry at being abandoned because I definitely feel like what the seme did to him was also very fucked up. All in all, this is a recipe for disaster. As the title implies, "Bound to be Fools" is fitting. Idk, this relationship if there will be any (which there probably will be) is unhealthy. They need to get their own shit fixed before trying to fix other people"s problems.
tbh agreed I don't like the uke much, he comes off as selfish to me and out of touch. Their relationship seemed one-sided where he would just be showered in affection and care but never really offered seme the same level of support. Like he saw what happened to seme's family and can probably make some inferences of how serious and bad that shit is. For some reason though he still wanted to make the situation be about himself. Threatening to kill himself in that situation came off to me as more of a manipulative and toxic thing.
Seme said hurtful stuff but he was going through a lot at that moment with his family's situation and uke did not respect space nor did he really try to be supportive in the correct way. The uke basically being all "what about our relationship?" as if the relationship is highest priority adds to the frustration. I think in that situation, a weight of a highschool relationship is very weak in comparison to his family's problem.
Uke still self-centered if he sees the seme at his lowest point with all the responsibilities and still thinks that revenge is needed bc seme broke up with him many years ago.

It's horrible because the side characters are putting them together mainly to increase customers and money for their shop. Talk about being selfish... And yeah, the uke definitely had things he was struggling with, which was why he tried to jump in the first place. When the seme breaks things off with him, he does so filled with anger, embarrassment, and a hurt pride, which is NOT good when trying to break up with someone because they're clouded with judgement. It led him to say things that he undoubtedly did not understand about the uke's family problems as well. Both sides were in the wrong, I just think that trying to bring their relationship full circle with a grudge and revenge in mind is the worst idea rather than trying to move on or at least understand the other party.
