Just asking if this story has gotten any less depressing/suspenseful ever since the priest’s childhood backstory? I stopped reading there because the priest was stressing me tf out and now im wondering if the story’s in a less stressful spot for me to pick it back up. No major spoilers though please.
Im jumping on the same theory that everyone else has that granny has passed away. God i hope he somehow has the funds that jaekyung gave him saved up so he can pay jaekyung back and just clean himself off of everything to do with him now that he has no actual reason to stay with him (other than his feelings but thats been proven to disgust jaekyung so…).
Idk i feel like all the potential male leads are ass. Even if they “change their ways” the things theyve done till now are pretty unforgivable. The “brother” with the sick little sister too is also a complete asshole who wants to make himself feel better and downplay the gravity of his actions. Even though imo he’s the least offensive one of the bunch. God damn im so petty if i were her I’d never find it in my heart to forgive them.
What the actual fuck was that ending. Im so confused can someone explain? Absolutely blindsided me.
Spoilers from here on out
So from what im understanding, isaac was the killer all along? He was the one who killed all those people?? Or he just killed colin and her husband in a manic state because hes a closet yandere (but also because he rightfully hates her husband) and took the blame for all the other murders? I think I can see why he killed colin because maybe he thought that colin was going to “take giselle” away from him by finding the cure to their immortality. And isaac wanted giselle to take the pills because he wanted to live forever with her, so if colin cured them both colin would essentially be “taking away” what he wanted for himself and giselle. Im just so confused as to why he suddenly said he was the murderer all along because I thought we already saw a scene where he and giselle encountered the actual murderer in the forest? Did I make that up or what thats why im so confused rn.
Also what was up with that last scene with the little kid who looks like him and that creeper who im assuming is supposed to be isaac? Why did giselle shoot him? Is the little kid a trap layed by isaac for giselle? So many goddamn questions

Nah i dont fuck with the male lead. He’s some kind of -dere that i just dont like. Its great that the male lead wants to treasure his friendships with his peers and all but letting the blonde jerk be rude as hell to naho and agreeing with his friends that naho is average and not charming/cute at all is just some fake ass shit. What kind of childhood friend is that. I kind of get what naho is feeling rn too with not wanting to bring another persons image down by simply hanging out with them a lot just cause you’ve known each other for so long. And it sucks when you feel like they’re being nice (but not truthful) to you out of some type of obligation. Sure, i admit that i was one of those ppl who was kind of cringing in the beginning from the main character due to them coming off as naive and having an over-inflated ego but now that he’s more self-aware i get where he’s coming from. NOTE: the main reason why i was cringing isn’t because I was hating on his confidence in himself in the beginning, it was because he was CONSTANTLY calling himself cute out loud or bringing the topic back to how cute he is. Lil bro was not very humble at all lmao
