I didnt read the sypnosis before reading this so I was really hoping she was gonna turn out to have been the type of character who “took up” the cowardly persona as a way of hiding her real messed up nature Something in the way she spaced out and her facial expressions in the beginning of the first chapter made it seem like she genuinely didnt give a fck about her sister’s harassing her, and was just biding her time before she could plot some revenge. Or if not that then I was hoping it was something like she was cursed to be cowardly and was actually a psychopathic sadist on the inside. And the reason why she was cursed is because she’s psychopathic
I might just be too petty. But it really doesn’t seem right to me how they ended up together after all that. I wish she would have left or something because the history between the two is too much to just sweep under the rug and get past. For me, I genuinely don’t think there’s a type of love strong enough to sweep everything that happened under the rug and continue to be with someone who hurt me that bad. Genuinely, the only reason that I can think of that’s enough to justify them choosing to be together in the end, is that they had an obsession with each other and their past together.

Lmfao im so sorry, but reading everyones annoyed comments about the mc is so funny for some reason. Im also so damn frustrated by how trusting the mc can be to the point where his life is put in danger. To be fair, if the people around him weren’t messed up criminals or psychopaths, he wouldnt be in danger but of course in the real world, you gotta be careful of being too trusting. Its a shame that the mc lives in an environment that is surrounded by people who are more than eager to ruin his life. Im almost convinced that the author is making him suffer all of this because theyre trying to make a point about trust and how far it can drag you down in life. But i thought that at this point, they’d give the mc some character development given how much he’s suffered (and as much as im tempted to say that a lot of his suffering was his own fault, that would be victim blaming imo because if the ppl around him weren’t assholes he wouldnt be in these messes anyway). I just hope he can recognize that he can be trusting but also not be an absolute dumbass at the same time given his track record and bad luck. Im a trusting person, but not to this point.
