The age of consent still differs from the legal age. I’m aware of the different laws, but as an American, this is straight-up immoral and gross as fuck for me.
The only reason theres an age limit for a valid consent from a minor to an adult is because the minor’s mental capacities would be considered too low, like he doesn’t have the right abilities to make the good choices. So it’s really up to the individual to decide if the uke in this story didn’t have the right to decide for himself. Since this is a story, i couldn’t care less about age gap because most of the characters in yaois are defined by stereotypes(like personnalities wise, characters are all childish and physically, you tiny if uke andmanly if seme in most of the stories) and about incest, there’s logical/rational reason to be against incest. But ofc you can find it nasty, the same way i dislike seeing lesbians sex.

I don’t want to offend the author of this, but I just wasn’t a fan. The story was all over the place and though it wrapped itself up, reading it was kind of difficult. It read like a mystery book, but just wasn’t portrayed in a proper way. I definitely think it could have potential if the beginning did not start like that and if the plot had better detail/depth
