I read the novel long time ago.
Alexis hated god and deity (I forgot the reason). MC will bring light to drove darkness away etc and then he will fall asleep (I think for a season). While MC asleep, plague came, and herbs that MC stored had helped bring down the plagued, which MC already predicted. Alexis felt betrayed and when MC woke up they fought. MC turned out to be a god messenger. They were about to get divorce. MC left Alexis, but Alexis' love for MC is great, but he also prideful. He stalked MC to make sure MC doesn't cheat on him (he doesn't really wanna divorce). They made up eventually. Alexis is smart, he figured out real MC is dead, and MC soul is sent by god that's why he has different personality. Alexis helped MC defeat enemies (I think there are several, I kinda forgot). I think time when MC is still fighting with ML, he asked god if he really can go home if he finished his mission. MC kinda sad about ML and thought, if ML hated him that much, he better go back home. God then give him message :
1. Your body is healthy, still alive
2. You can go home to your family there's no consequences to you or your family, but this other world will collapse, since you have deeply intertwined with this world.
