Can someone please explain what guide averse is or how it works. I tried to read one long time ago but than dropped it so i have no clue what it is. I love this author i don't wanna miss any serious of them so please help me...
Guideverse = Guide + Universe. Two main genders (?) of guideverse: Esper, people w/ superpowers; Guides, people who calms Espers.
If you use your daily life as reference, you're the esper and your cat is your guide. A cat purring relaxes you; guides serve the same purpose. They are there to help Espers calm down, relax, and their superpowers.
Guides are also w/ superpowers in some way. Espers, release their powers thus they feel tired. Guides also release their power but their power is to replenish espers' health, like a purring cat.
I have no knowledge as to why people get addicted to sex but if I connect "Guideverse" & "Intimacy", I'd say that when espers/guides have sex, the guides have more space to give their healing power meanwhile the espers can easily recieve the healing.

I forgot about the compatibility. Well, in shorter terms, it's like you petting a cat but the cat hisses at you. Maybe the cat doesn't vibe w/ you or some mother nature/science/god's plan says "nope, not you and this cat, maybe another cat."
If an esper/guide ism't compatible w/ each other, Guides will have a hard time releasing their healing power; Espers will have a hard time absorbing the healing.
