I can't understand the plot. Okay, there is a god-like creature with his god-like consort here and this consort is like a poor bird in a cage. And? What is the story? This is all about how Na-in lives his daily life and what kinda person he is, so far. AND????? What is the plot? What is the purpose? No moral, no motive, nothing. I'd be glad if this is about how Na-in trying to escape from Amon or try to unleash his memory or whatever. Idk. I can't grasp the main plot here and it made me sad. Art looks good, characters looks interesting. I wish to see more.
I suggest reading the novel because the pacing of the adaptation does kind of throw you off and there is just SO much that goes into it. Even reading the novel it took so many puzzle pieces falling into place to go from “ah, what the fuck is happening” to “ah damn what the actual fuck seriously.” Decently heavy/uncomfortable themes I’m still waiting for the ending to come out~

After realising Sakura is not a thread, he will be ally. But still... If he is this much a town lover, where was he while our boys defending it with their body and souls??
