The only thing interesting about this story is his child, there is absolutely no plot and just SA, the semes proportions are ATROCIOUS and the dynamic is the same old shit , the art is also kinda…bleh
the over explanation of everything is driving me insane , sometimes simple things like a conversation takes up multiple pages because the uke is overanalysing something simple that’s been said and it’s exhausting to read like why can’t as a reader I think for myself and theres so many flashbacks ALSO I’m not feeling any chemistry between the uke and seme despite the build up , the uke seems to have a poker fake/ lack of expression like Alllllll the time even during sex but hey the story is worth the read

Lmao, I know what you're talking about, but I like reread this like 5 times within the past 3 months. Jake doesn't tell Shin shit. We only get to know all the juicy info bc if interactions between Jake and Cesar and Ishmel, but to Shin directly? He just sounds like a strangely educated gangster with a high position. I don't think he ever told Shin any direct information at all - Like zip, nada. Even him talking about table manner when they were at the diner was vague AF. I totally understand the confusion Shin is going through, cuz I never met a enigmatic bastard like Jake Gillian, especially in contrast to Shin's no nonsense approach. I'm so pumped for the next season, but omg I'm so scared how things are gonna turn out.

Sameeee dude. on why shin is confused, I think it's probably due all the shit that just unfolded, like he shot a guy for Jake and he stayed cleaned in that aspect his whole life and suddenly, rather that letting Shin get beat up, he ended up killing some of the gang members in front of him? I know he saw Jake shoot that one guy in the ass before but I think the adrenaline and shock finally caught up with Shin after that showdown and he realized that either Jake is even more dangerous than he thought or he's hiding something major and just snapped. I think Shin became lulled into a false security thinking Jake was a gangster and had grown up perhaps similar to Shin, and therefore seen their share of life and dubbed them both "lowlifes sticking together" as we seen in prior chapters, but I started to gather from that ending statement that Shin probably had no clue Jake was undercover, after all doing undercover work is extremely risky and while we might read and see this shit on stories all the time, Shin probably got no clue to expect that. In his world, there's cops, criminals and the in-between.

It actually annoyed me so much that the mc even CONSIDERED that the ml slept with his brother. ML defended himself so well and he’s so right for kicking him out bcs wtff?? I would be so offended - I used to and still rlly love this story but this chapter was so ??? I’m so lost on where or what point there relationship is at I think we need a side couple or something to fill this hollowness also what happened to the chemistry between the two? Tbh, I never felt like this couple had much of a chemistry aside from the sexual kind. I understand your frustration with the argument in this chapter but I sincerely feel like it’s way more than mc thinking ml could’ve slept with his brother. From the start, ml has been so secretive about his past and it’s clear that mc has opened up more than ml. Mc was probably ok/thought he was ok with ml sleeping with clients initially but the longer they date, the more he realised that he feels uneasy with ml’s secretiveness (WHICH IS COMPLETELY OK BTW, your opinion can change). Especially with the ex appearance and everything. The brother is just a catalyst that turned mc’s anxiety into doubt. It sounds like I’m just blaming ml but clearly both of them are at fault and this convo could’ve gone better with better coms from both sides :,(
It’s also possible that I’m reading too much into everything and mc simply went into panic mode and tried to do damaged control out of jealously. Which failed lol.

Reading this has changed my pov actually and I think i was a little harsh on the mc I just feel like he should have a little more trust in the ml and should know he wouldn’t do something like that especially knowing that he knows who his brother is but I do now see he is just really anxious about him sleeping around and being secretive even though it’s part of the job , I just feel like these two shouldn’t even be together, it’s a real shame because I think the story started off to strong
