I'm starting to think MC is really mentally ill. Like I wouldn't be surprised if it's revealed that MC isn't really there mentally and having psychotic breaks/episodes which is leading him to hallucinate this whole life. & ML is actually helping him but do to MC mental illness he seems like the villain.&& everyone in the office knows he has a mental illness which is why the keep distance from him. For him to imagine his friend in a flower pot what if the friend been dead for months or yrs and he hasn't accepted it.what if the Mc was the 1 who was bullied during school & killed someone & the ML is the 1 who actually helped him. I can see that as well MC switching their stories around

Idk this kinda made me super sad he had his 1st time with a stranger and didn't even enjoy it and barelyremembered it. He said he his ex boyfriend name and thought about him in that brief moment. From the previous comments I'm guessing the stranger is the girl brother from previous chapters. I just know when the ML finds out he is going to be crushed cause he wanted their 1st time to be special. So MC is still out there pretty much self destructing all tho he is an adult now. I feel like he is to old now to continue down this path. & I feel bad for the ML cause when he does find him he is going to have to deal with it all and honestly the ML seems like to good of a person to have to deal with the BS the MC has. I knew this was going to happen where my thoughts towards the prosecutor will begin slightly shifting. I can't lie and ignore the fact that the prosecutor is trying to give him a better life not just for him but the baby as well. It seems as tho the baby has changed his feelings towards the MC and he is know seeing a different cuter side to the MC causing him to eventually care about them. Although the prosecutor beginning was shaky it seems there's more sides to him that could be lovable and kind. I was a prosecutor hater at first because I was like he is just a manipulative rapist and yall he isn't. I went to go back to reread to fuel my hatered. But honestly after rereading he didn't rape the MC they had made a deal in that car. MC exchanged sex & information to ensure the prosecutor would send him to jail. The prosecutor might be an asshole at times but he wasn't a rapist he even stated he wouldn't force himself on the MC the MC has to agree to the terms himself. Which has now put things in a different perspective as well. Which brings me to sadly say this I will be putting this on hold because I honestly dont like love triangles. Also I wanted to know more about the long hair omega and the captain but sadly we want be getting much from them or the omega roomate and his baby daddy. Idc for the officer and the prisoner twins storyline. They are actually my least interesting couple.

He does use coercion though when he did have sex with the mc. The mc never wanted to do it with him in the first place. The second time they did it was definitely forced because the prosecutor refused to let him get his meds. He does manipulate him by using his insecurities to convince him to choose him over the other guy. Unfortunately, whether he realizes it or not, he’s using his lawyer’s skills on the poor mc who is pregnant and feeling vulnerable. The mc never wants to burden his family, especially step mom, who he now feels differently about so he turns to the person who he thinks can “help.” But I admit, I saw the raws and the mc doesn’t look happy with the prosecutor. Understand though, they do not have the making of a healthy relationship that would benefit bringing a child into it! There is an imbalance of power between the prosecutor and mc that can and does get easily exploited by the prosecutor.

Sooooo I can't tell if him in That guy are actually dating or just fuck buddies. Them laying on the couch,tooth brushes which gives to me he practically living there then Them fighting and the room being a mess gave toxic relationship vibes but idk. I still kinda honestly prefer the ML with someone else for now.Because as of now MC self hatred abusive & destructive nature will do nothing but sucked the life outta the ML. Which I'm pretty sure the ML is just gonna accept it & use the excuse of being in love to justify it. It don't sit right in my spirit how the ML is still so devastated over the MC till the point he cant even function and given up on life. He definitely needs to go out and date other people as well and start living once release from the military instead of suffering.
You might misunderstanding stuffs. The older guy is fuck buddies, but the scene laying couch and brushing teeth stuffs was him with the ML. It was like a memories. Ngl they look so similar tho

At the very least I'm pretty sure the lap scene is the ML, I don't exactly sure about the toothbrush but my initial understanding was that the arguing part was with ml bcz he said "how much you put up with me" which he did refer to ml. But the clothing measurements scene was with that older guy tho I think idk it's kinda mixed up
