Is the bullying in Korea so intense as to warrant stuff like this in popular culture? By warrant, I mean socially acceptable to portray one's own society like that and no one bats an eye?
Just reading the bullying scenes makes me angry enough that I feel like something in my forehead is going to snap. And I haven't even gotten started on the motivations and actions of the characters yet.

Taesung never really felt bothered in the first season with his mother's indifference towards him, so I assumed he didn't care to much in this situation. There was some shock initially when she picked him up, but now I think he is at most apathetic towards her except in situations where she intervenes. From how outside the inner circle perspective of the main couple, no one else knows about their relationship, certainly not the Mom. Especially since both Taesung and Haebom agreed not to tell her until some future date.
From the mother's perspective, Haebom will never tell her anything wrong and she says this explicitly. Add in a toxic mix of caring more about Haebom's well-being and the fact that Haebom is the son the man she divorced, and you get an annoying situation like just now. Accusing someone of being something they aren't.

The issue of approaching Chaoyi's problem is that he simultaneously is attached to both his parents and Lu Lang. Lu Lang was effectively thrown out by his mother, and so is able to cut ties without much thought. Chaoyi, given his parent's controlling nature, probably grew up intimidated and overwhelmed into obeying what his parents wanted while being in conflict of what is right. It's not exactly looked upon well in China to disobey the parents, and it feels like Chaoyi had no choice since he never experienced an individual life like Lu Lang.
I really want Chaoyi to find happiness because it seems like he waited out his punishment for being sent overseas and was utterly crushed when he returned. Essentially, he did nothing wrong

Some person was throwing around some shocking spoilers. I sincerely hope that this ending isn't true.

Based off of something of the other works this author has done, I’m thinking of treating the “spoilers” as a troller being an asshole. There probably will be some problems the characters face, but the one mentioned in the “spoiler” is so wtf that it doesn’t make me feel that this author is likely to do that.
On the other hand, if it’s true, then idk what to expect from this author’s future works. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Absolutely, just leaving the idea no would posted on 5 topics the same spoiler unless they wanted to be unliked. Then like you said I don't think the author would end it that way, but if so, I would know better in the future :) That is not the shit I want to read
I can't hep but chuckle, I've done that duplicate posts so many times that I wonder to myself, "come one, really"? If you really want to delete the duplicates, I think go to your homepage, "click" topic (or questions) and I've seen a delete option
I was already in a bad mood, but the black-hair boy's hypocrisy just made it worse.
