Part of the reason why I dropped Kpop was that the reality of being an idol was too harsh for me to just spend good money on going to concerts and buying merchandise. I knew that most of my money won't go to those sexy, talented singers and dancers. And on top of that, those same folk are subjected to sexual and financial exploitation and get famous and popular with abusive fans. To think that this is depicted in a manhwa is surprising and refreshing, and hopefully more people are aware of this problem.

Hmmm..actually i don't really see them being subjected to sexual exploitation...they do them on their own accord?
Wonho probably the one who slept around to get sponsors, be it with Minki at first, and then Eunwoo, and who knows else...but it was so he can get famous, it's not like he was threatened to do so

Spoiler:
The president isn't cheating or selling his body. Instead, he is trapped in an abusive relationship with his current wife and a literal battle of life and death with his half brothers. The president's father is trying to help him, but the cost is that the relationship with the MC has to end. The wife is the daughter of the president of a powerful corporation, whose influence is needed to keep the half brothers at bay. The wife has kidnapped the MC before, so ending this relationship is for the best.

The reality of the workplace, especially for those folk who find themselves in positions of management, is that office politics and familial lineage are a double edged sword. The story establishes that Kimura Senior is well connected and known in the Kyushu Industry Federation. He is a trusted business partner and has the strength of years of experience. For his partners, the son is a new face with no experience in the industry and yet already is second in command. The son may be an excellent software engineer, but he needs to quickly find the industry connections to prove himself capable in metalworking. Otherwise, it isn't worth working with the Kimura Factory in the future because it would potentially be a drag, given Kimura Senior's advanced age.
It is completely unfair, especially since in today's economy being an SE is far more in demand than being a metalworker. Especially since the son realized early on that metalworking was not his strong point and made a correct decision to do something with skills he was good at. BUT he chose to come back. And starting over is a painful consequence of that. He isn't cowardly, but in fact loyal and faithful to his family for helping his father out despite having to learn everything without help. But loyalty and sincerity can only get you so far in a professional setting, especially if you have no results to back you up.
Hopefully Kimura can get a big deal and get it done well so that all those haters can shut up.
It feels like a typical shoujo boyfriend got into a relationship with a stereotypical yaoi uke. Suzuki seemed a little too perfect......not that I'm complaining ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
So a-holes are perfect, now? Ew.
How is Suzuki an a-hole?
gurl i think u missed the plot.
I also don't really perceive him as an asshole. Slightly sadistic and teasing, but nothing that warrants animosity. Opinions differ.
