ok this was a beautiful story but the ending left me SO UNFULFILLED. I want to see the development of their relationship! where’s the conversations and the emotions and them falling in love?? where is the payoff of all of this? ughh now I want to read a childhood friends unrequited story that actually does have a developed relationship shown. ahh i’m kind of sad that they don’t remember each other and the friendships and adventures they had. usagi and arisu met but what about everyone else?? they’re probably never going to meet! rip my girl hikari T-T. but then again remembering everything would probably give them some serious ptsd Σ( ￣□￣||)…so maybe it’s necessary? i wish we could see more interactions of them in the real world tho. and also i wish we’d heard what arisu’s response was to the last question! i’m really excited to see this all adapted to the show
