this story keeps getting more & more interesting. i might actually go and read the novel (if there is one, i usually just assume )
and, again, i really do love his and bora's interactions.
i hate being so repetitive about this but man....i wish that kind of energy could've been shown between jay and bora through the main story, it would've been so good for them, even though i know we were given a reason why it become kinda weird between them. but i mean, they could've had a "rekindling our friendship" vibe and then jumped into this extra backstory and romance between them.
regardless, i'm still waiting to see their potential, because rn, all i am is frustrated
they've started diving into the romance a little earlier than i was expecting, but i don't hate it at all. they're so cute
as fucked up as their meeting & subsequent relationship was, i'm glad haejoon and eunyung met and have each other to understand the truly awful nitty gritty parts of each other's lives and to look out for each other like this.
i've been wanting to read this for a little while now, but the comments always make me hesitant....
i might try and start this at some point soon & make my own judgements. i'm kinda leaning towards maybe it won't be as bad as some ppl make it seem, but it really boils down to the writing for me. hopefully the development actually is good & well-written & well paced, but seeing as it has quite a few chapters already & still on-going, i think it will be lol

i'm so happy to see lyrica & the emperor bonding. i love their little family (bryn included!! the second mom lol)
ilya isn't that bad to me. like this level of "hurt my loved one, and i'll hurt you" is acceptable to me since in my mind, it's reasonable lmaohe's still my sweet baby boy lol
i just hope he doesn't get too intense. i always check out immediately when it gets to the point of the yandere character wanting to isolate the love interest & all the noncon/dubcon stuff.
i did see that spoiler that he does do smth slightly(?) weird when jerry is sleeping but.....i'll wait for the actual scene to happen before i pass judgement.
i mean, i know it's because she's kindest, sweetest, most considerate babygirl that's ever babygirled, but still. you love to see it!
bruh there is no reason for jeongwoo's friend to be interested in seul unless this is his roundabout way of urging jeongwoo to pursue her (but i doubt it? maybe?)
plus, seul is not that appealing for someone to fall for her at first sight like i'm sawry. she's actually really bland & uninteresting. like she's straight up giving Y/N frfr
i'm not unused to seeing dicks by now, but times like thes i kinda miss lightsabers maybe it'll look prettier in other angles
except that i really gotta stop reading this creator after this. i cant do bullshit relationship dynamics like this anymore.
i really dont know what ppl see in these kinds of toxic dynamics. like if they were better written & more complex, then absolutely, but kim dan is just a naive pushover & jaekyung is an egotistic abuser (as far as we know, but if we ever get a sad backstory meant to humanize him, my eyes will roll out of my head).
but at the same time, the formula works if i keep coming back to this trash (which, i dont think this is the first time i've said this with this story lmao)
i know it was out of urgency to find yusung, but i like how the others didnt try to fight taewon when it was revealed yusung was missing. i feel like any other series like this would've had a huge meltdown/fight between the love interests (and who knows, maybe one is still coming once he tells them the reason they fought).
in my mind, they're already family djsndjd
i'm always a sucker for these kinds of characters. not that i want him and bora togrther or anything, but i just love a silly goofy guy. i hope they stay friends at least.
