It’s weird I’ve noticed how the FL almost always has the same or lighter skin tone then the ML (which is a trope I think should die) but I’m so glad this story doesn’t do that

I mean Korea is a very homogenous country, and not a lot of people are dark. I mean my dad's dark, but like, he goes outside literally every single day for hours and hours. He's the only one in his family who isn't "white," in their skin tone. It's really nice to see more darker characters though, even if just tan. She's so pretty too, our FL looks so radiant.

The FL for this is likeable and I'm curious to see how the story goes but rather than it being racist, it sets a tone. More like someone once mentioned how more cartoons with dark skin characters were turned into animals than not, like with the emperors new groove, brother bear and the princess and the frog.
So, honestly seeing a rare darker skin character portrayed as a violent, hairy beast with that kind of realization and mindset is just unsettling.

What’s the point in apologizing if you don’t actually regret or feel remorse for what you did?? Plus it seems like he just did it for himself, if not why would he would he try to make the other dude accept it so quickly??

I think he is sorry in some way. I think Elise opened the door and then his daughter's words got to him. He said that he did everything he did for his family. So he doesn't regret killing to help his sister.
Problem is who he killed were innocent members of someone else's family. I think he was always thinking of things in terms of himself and his family, but not anyone elses. So he seems to now realize what sort of pain he caused by comparing it to what pain he would feel. That might be why he kept seeing flashbacks of the ML's face as a child.
Like what would he feel if someone killed his sister or mother? What would he feel if his half brother hated him, or if he hated his half brother. He caused all that pain to fall upon someone so young and innocent(both brothers really). And he is continuing to cause pain by trying to stage a coup. I think he gets that now.
He is too damn old for it to take this long for him to understand something so simple tho...so if he did toss himself off the tower...oh fucking well.

Yup yup, I really don’t care about him jumping, like he was gunna die soon anyway so his death means so little. But it’s gunna suck because this is just a way for the ML to feel even more guilty, like come on the ML has been through so much and the old man decided to do this right after a confrontation with the ML?? Rude
(This is all on the assumption that old dude did jump)
thank god for the comments! now I don't have to subject myself to this (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Babe I'm so sprey I accidently downvoted
