Started out with an interesting premise, but a bit of a shaky start, but ended strong. Really good cast of characters, and a surprising wholesomeness around each of their relationships with each other.

Early artstyle was very unique, loved how expressive everything was. Really good build up to the eventual romance, but I really, really, REALLY hate the final act. It didn't have to lead to it all things considering, and while I do believe high schoolers can be vicious, it was a bit too much for me. Coming of Age in it's most earnest. What I like about the genere is how earnest and raw it expresses the full range of human emotion, warts and all. It cuts deep through any pretention and reflects back our insecurities we've probably felt growing up.
Ending is a bit off though, I felt like the author might have been pressured, but it was an enjoyable journey to have read this. From the art, to the characters, I've fallen in love with this, and hope more people read it.

Originally rated this an 8, but on a re-read, it holds up really well! I was reading it before the original translations came through, so I'm glad that the dialogue was conveyed well.
