So, I just caught up with the novel. So girl was able to live, and ahe got her voice back, but if ur wondering who the ml is, well, unsurprisingly it's his asshole husband. He had some damn issues, idk, I hate him, and now they're living together, again
If ur wondering if she dies, yes and no. Yes, she did successfully die in the hands of the ml, but for some reason, she and ml regressed. Idk man.

The og Villainess did die. When mc possessed her body, she really hated how fucked up the situation was, not only was she exiled and abandoned, she also lost her voice, she lost her ability to sing - which was her only will to live. So, that's why she always have wounds and suicide marks was her attempts of dying. Basically, she does successfully commit suicide, but she goes back to the same bed, the same scene, but added marks. (went back in time, moments before she commit suicide)
Then, she read some sort of prophecy that ml is the one who's supposed to kill her, - there's more things that happened, but long story short, she was strangled by ml - she dies successfully - she regresses with him - and now the ml's curse (because for some reason that's his reason for being an ass) transferred to her - she got her voice back - she tells ml about her suicide attempts and how ml might be linked to the regression - they cohabit - and yeah, ml has this strange obligation of taking care of her now, while acting nonchalant
