It's obvious why Nick and Theo are a little messed up. With a father that intense, demanding, and not even pretending to be just borderline manipulative, how could they not be :D. Imagine spending your entire life being put down because you don't possess the same innate intelligence as your older brother? It would drive me insane. I show slightly less empathy for Nick because although he was restrained with his family's expectations, he could've used their simping to his advantage to MAYBE relieve his brother and not be a dick.
Man idk I've been in this situation as Nick and it's not the hard not to be a dick.

I'm glad he didn't end up with Masaki, cause it would've thrown off the movement of the plot plus the guy was a dick at the beginning, but I still feel bad for the guy. Clearly he's got some issues, but he's not a bad person. Since he loved him, he could've easily manipulated Yuki while he was down and vulnerable to give up on his love, but instead he urged him to chase him.
Masaki, I hope you get your happy ending.
Whenever I read plots where an older person transmigrates into a younger body, I like to think that the longer they're in that body, the more their mind regresses in order to fit it. It's the only way I can hold onto my sanity
