While I like the theory the way she reacted to finding out that he was someone from another world wasn't 'Oh I'll get MORE info' or 'I'll finally get the info he denied me' it was more like 'this is a completely unique opportunity that I never had the chance to get before'

I don't know whether this was just a thing in the town where I grew up, or just amongst my family, but when it was sunny while it rained we called it a "sky festival". Since that type of weather usually results in lots of rainbows, they are the "bunting", and the clouds are where the sky people are running around, splashing about in the cloud rivers, having fun. I always wished that I could fly so I could see a sky festival with my own eyes.
