Is so admirable! I love how she stands up for those she feels deserve more respect, even if she isn't necessarily friends with them, she still does the Noble thing and is kind and helpful--- even trying to correct the "bad person's" ways and giving them a chance to be a better person.
But, honestly, even if she didn't do all that, I'd still be happy to just see her tearing some jerk a new a**hole! Haha(￣∇￣")
I'm worried about the outcome for this.
Because Yonagi's type of acting is essentially "method acting". She deliberately throws herself into mindsets and situations that fit her character's role in order to understand them completely, so everything she feels becomes quite realistic for her.
They've mentioned it before, but Kei's issue with her acting until recently has been pulling herself OUT of the depths of her role, and back to "a regular human being", not "getting into character." She throws herself into her role, which is great! It makes her one of the best actors in the biz...but she has a LOT of trouble bringing herself back out of it and remembering who she was before the role.
Even worse still, is that Yonagi is using the basis of real memories of her father. Thoughts and emotions she kept suppressed for a long time and hasn't learned to properly cope with yet, instead of superficial feelings she learned secondhand (like with Araya's sick mentor in her first theatre gig).
Momo is similar, which is what I'm guessing the Director guy is worried about, but they're just both so willing to sacrifice 'themselves' to become "better." It leaves a sad feeling actually, for me at least ╥﹏╥
Also, might this be named after the Egoist song of the same name? I doubt it, but it'd be pretty cool~ ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I wish this were real, that way I could watch both Death Island and Princess Iron Fan. The thing I wanted to watch most though was Night on the Galactic Railroad. So much heart feels, and I know that if Yonagi, Araya, and ...the Angel girl (Momo-something. Momoshiro, Momoi? God why am I drawing a blank?) were real, it would be all the better.
