I don't hate her but I do agree, romance in these kind of novels feels forced and very shallow. I get part of the fantasy is MC getting the best girl(s) but it feels like the authors have never been in a relationship tbh. Also, what's this author thinking making her have a current partner? It's distasteful.
I'm confused since she is trying to find her lover no? Or was her her brother?
Unless there's a translation error, I'm pretty sure it's her lover. The hunter chat mentioned it it chap 4 or 5
If you're talking about the hunter whose lover went missing, she isn't a love interest. It's clearer in the novel, but she's basically become antisocial since losing her bf and doesn't have many ppl she can be herself with b/c of her fame/rank. She comes to view MC as a close friend b/c he treats her normally.

Her lover isn't dead and they eventually reunite and iirc get married.

This trope is getting old. The main point I don't like is mc having to endure bad treatment bc of the og. I also hate it when they have to suck up to their horrible trash family. I'd prefer revenge than redemption tbh. I've only read one good redemption novel where the brothers actually came to terms with their displaced hatred and it still affected MC through his healing process. Don't sweep that dirty laundry under the rug! No sane person would do that!
Passive MC might tick some ppl off. It really feels like a normal heroine is a commoner who attracts the prince story but MC is a side character. No transmigration tho
Before I started reading this, his visual was actually my favorite but bloody hell he's the most selfish, bratty coward I ever effing saw. It's horrible to imagine that in another story, he'd be the ML (╬￣皿￣)凸 his red flags are BLOOD RED. To think he'd raised his hand against a woman for speaking the truth! Ahh I wanna beat him up so bad!!
