People go so hard on poorly written female characters like... that's the authors fault. I hate the way she's written too but damn the misogyny really jumps out with some of these comments.

Tbh I don't really mind the fl because she isn't that weak or timid like she know what to do and what not to do and she know it better for her to stay low so her step mom doesn't do anything worse to her..

But what I'm not satisfied with is the brother! Like how long are you going leave your sister alone?! Are waiting for your sister to be killed again? Before this when she's timid and weak she still got kill now that she has changed ( well changed soul) she might get poison way earlier then the ori story(〜￣△￣)〜

Agreed. I like how she's not op or overly pushy in making things happen, but trying to make use of her knowledge. I think she's closer to how many most likely would react if they were thrown into that situation. Until now, I find her to be relatable, which is a nice change of pace to those super cool awsomesauce op female leads.

to be fair it wasn't his fault she push her feelings onto him and force him to marry her. the way she doing it from the start is wrong, and she knows he had a bad history and she still push him! that not how you make someone to open up to you.
and yeas he has any right to say no and think about his first love. he has no obligation to love her back just cause she "like" his character. I kinda wish he would throw her out of the window XD

Personally, I really like that this FL is proactive and works for what/who she wants. She could live a life of leisure and have her father and brothers do everything for her but doesn't. Sure ML isn't obligated to return her feelings just bc she treats him well but she didn't exactly demand that he love or be with her either. They soon make a deal about it.

Anyways, it just bothers me that if the genders were reversed, most readers would cheer for mc to pursue the relationship 100%

she did demand it though, she sends him a marriage proposal knowing that he can't say no cause she is a princess. I don't know, trying to convince someone to marry you is in a way is trying to make him love her. and I doubt he will want to marry someone he does not care about or love. maybe it just me though ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Not exactly, she could have been much more domineering in the way she approached him. He's currently in a very poor situation; exiled and branded a traitor but she doesn't use that against him. FL sent a proposal but doesn't force him to accept it. Like I said, they make a deal in where if he doesn't love her half a yr (or a couple months I forget the exact time) she'll leave even though a broken engagement is much more damaging to the girl. Tbh, she could have straight up kidnapped him to keep and lock away in the palace none the wiser or caring. FL tried to win his affection instead. She's silly and delusional for sure but definitely not tyrannical.

Also, I only commented because everyone in the comments were bashing on her hard. She's a silly little girl in love with her favorite character. Like, who hasn't been there? ╮(￣▽￣)╭
But let's take the reverse situation:
A good intentioned guy tries to win the love of a fallen FL who watched her first love marry another woman. She exiled to the cold north in dire need of repair, reputation tarnished possibly for good. Ain't this every 2nd ML there ever was? Ppl would be rooting for him to win

no she does not need to kidnap him to force him into it, society already doing it for her since she has a title and he is not. still, she did use her title to stay in his house knowing he can't say no, she even admits it so it still counts as pushing without his will. if she didn't want to push him, she will not have asked to marry him again after he said no or force him to let her stay.

second I don't see people hate on her other than 3 comments only, so you can't call it "everyone" the rest of the comments loves her and support her bs which is most of the comments. so I don't see where you getting this from, did you even read all the comments?
I don't really care if it's a guy or girl doing it, when they say no to marry, the other party need to respect it and back off! or at least trying to get to know them before asking again to marry them out of nowhere. and I don't care about other people, but characters like this are really annoying to be and don't count has "love" partner at all. force is never the answer when you build a relationship.

I think you're not reading properly. Prior to my comment, there were quite a few rude comments and I just went back to take a second scroll through. First couple pgs are just liking another isekai, than come the raws and spoilers, quite a few are thrist comments and if you read through the discussions, you see most readers either supporting or politely disagreeing with FL but ofc, there's downright ppl who say they hate her also. Lastly, there's pancake sorrow and bashing on the ML for throwing away cake but that's neither here or there. That's more than just "3 comments" like you claim. A lot don't like how pushy and selfish she is and only a few are bothered by how she takes ML's neglect.

As I've said REPEATEDLY, FL makes a deal with ML and he's FREE TO REJECT THE MARRIAGE PROPOSAL. She does NOT force it on him. But I've also said she DOES forces her feelings which I also disprove of. FL grows up and develops through the series which is the point I stressed in my original comment. They are both flawed characters that really helped each other grow. FL becomes more mature and ML heals before learning not to take the kindness of others for granted, not just from the FL but everyone.

I'm really not sure why you keep debating me on this. Although we disagree on the level of forcefulness, we both still think she's pushing herself on him and yes, that's wrong. You're free to drop the novel if it bothers you this much. The NU spoiler pg has all the spoilers til completion. You don't need to continue

I'm just trying to see where you get that "everyone in the comments were bashing on her" part. I really don't see it, if you scroll back you see almost everyone which is many comments totally support and love her and think she is cute. I don't count the spoiler comments cause they don't talk about their opinion on her so they don't matter.
if I miss comments that bash her, well sorry but from a lot of comments other than 3-5 that I can count, there aren't many if at all that dislike her or her actions for that matter. there are many that dislike and hate the ML and bash him as a character cause he does not fall in love with her right away but her? I didn't see it.
for the rest, we can agree she is forceful and disagree on how much she is. it's okay, each and their own opinion. I don't mind about it ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Even if she's just attracted to that one person, she believed them to be a girl and accepted it anyways. This girl's bi lol.
