I love how the og mc is like a puppet master letting his avatars do the work. It means there can be more intense reactions to what he does, like his avatar can die for what they does or because they are jot strong enough, and it kinda raises the stakes in their story and still letting mc being thw op character who does not get hurt because he is sitting at home.

i think it was around 10+ chapters it can be seen that the power can be used in real world, where the first rival/enemy was talking with hes minions and using power which was in game in real world.
