I love fhat shes taking mils example and floowing her ways of teaching towards douglas. She makes him understand and change his persoective without being forceful but also slowly introduce the notion of her being different from the rest and her unique perspective. That she didnt make the same mistake when she judged him for his lack of knowledge on painting and has been giving him hints to understand on his own.
