if you think about how shuri's first life ended after being sold off my her family and abused it's so sad. i'm so glad she got a second chance. poor girl! you can just feel her soul shatter when her mom started talking. to not just lie but capitalize on her moment of weakness after being abused is just wow. and she knows shuri can't explain it or she'll look bad and ungrateful and like she had reason to hate johan and that gives the affair a motive. it's disgusting.
