More than any manga/manwha I’ve read lately, this one just gets in my head.. like ok so the “game” was another actual world all along, cool. But how does this merging really work?? For folks that merged easily, did the not give their character much personality? Is Lee so detached b/c he is basically the exact opposite of grandfell? Which thank goodness right? B/c Lee being a demon hunter would not be able to save ppl and kill demons like grandfell!! I wonder how many others have this disconnect as no others are shown like that? Idk I spend too much time thinking about the mechanics of this story!

I was actually thinking about that with this chapter, that what if instead of merging, Grandfell possessed Hoyeol's body? It makes a lot more sense when you look at how different they are vs the other players, and I think the reason would do with Grandfell's job as a demon hunter. Demons can use possession, it makes sense to me that demon hunters would be able to use something similar. Especially in a strange situation as tqo worlds becoming one.
I'm also genuinely curious if Grandfell was actually a character in Arcana instead of a player, when you see Arcanians talk about players/explorers. I wish someone could mention the surname in front of Harcon so we'd get our confirmation on that, if Grandfell was a noble from the same country Harcon might've heard of him..
This chapter got me excited bc we actually get to see Grandfell himself with Hoyeol in the same body/mind space and ahh!! Like sure it's technically going on all the time, but they're still somewhat connected that we don't get to see them have a conversation. I'd love for that to happen. Can't wait for the next chapter. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

Ugh, spoilers would be so nice, but I get it…. Sadly due to brain injury from car wreck, my memory is lacking and reading something I enjoyed so much gets harder and harder…. I’ll be honest.. I watch and rewatch a few solid tubers that narrate so throughly until it’s engrained, especially ones like this that just pull me in so much! I can handle reading manga/manwha repeatedly much more than novels… they should reveal things here eventually if it doesn’t get dropped… right?!? RIGHT??? (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Ah good point! Is Grandfell just a character Lee created or an actual person that lived in Arcana?? Interesting! I just naturally assumed he was real person, but if not it makes the whole merging thing easier to swallow! I can’t stop thinking about how weird it would be to have another consciousness in my body! You have control but not really.

Woo, you're so great and amazing for keeping spoilers to yourself when people unable to read the novel ask for them (sarcasm).
No but seriously, at least for me when I seek spoilers it never ruins the "hype created from anticipation", rather, it makes me even MORE hype to see it happen in the series I'm consuming. Sharing is not going to do anything to you, and if people read your reply before reading the whole thread and get unwillingly spoilered, it's their own fault for continuing to read the replies despite the content of the previous ones. Spoilers without warning are their own thing, but spoilers when seeked typically aren't going to kill "the hype" for the seekers, they tend to do the opposite.
I don't mean ill will, but your response just feels somewhat pretentious when you have people expressing how they are physically incapable of reading the novel themselves. Trust me, I used to love reading, but am now unable to keep my attention spam enough to keep up with long text no matter how interested I'm in it. If I could read the novel, I 100% would. But I can't. It seriously wouldn't take anything from you to share, you're not any morally better for not disclosing anything┗( T﹏T )┛

Holy shit, self righteous much? It’s less that I don’t want to and more like I legit CAN’T without making an essay-length document. They can’t read the novel, so they would likely have trouble reading the doc. That and I can’t explain over 500 LONG chapters of dense info well enough to keep the excitement of reading the actual novel. So I just don’t. There’s no point. There’s so much stuff happening every chapter of the novel that there’s no way I can explain everything; it would just be questions upon questions. For reference: Frost arc fight with Decarabia starts around chapter 56-58 of the novel. I HAVE READ ABOUT 450 MORE CHAPTERS THAN THAT. THERE IS LEGIT TOO MUCH TO EXPLAIN. I WOULD NOT DO IT JUSTICE. ALL I CAN DO IS BE A MESSENGER FOR THE NOVEL AND GUIDE OTHERS TO HOMEN.

Anyone else feel comforted by them releasing the date season 3 will start?!? Like it will actually happen?? So many say see you next season and then nothing!

Yes! I like it a lot too. I feel like all authors should do the same. How else are readers supposed to know when it comes back or if it comes back? It not only gives readers that reinsurance that it will be back, but also lets readers know when they should expect the next season. If any other readers are like me and read tons of manga at the same time, and forget about it later on when it hasn’t updated in awhile, it’s super helpful.
No march chapter? :(
