MC is stupid and self centered:
1. Why tf would you even talk about that incriminating shit when your partner is in the next room?!
2. Mc had a golden chance to claim ignorance since he is on record as having amnesia, was bodyswapped, and genuinely had nothing to do with the plot.
3. Should have talked about having kids with his husband instead of slipping him the morning after pill (wtf?). There are plenty of reasons to delay getting pregnant, since MC is supposedly still recovering from the accident. MC could have said he discovered the plot but needs to investigate what’s true before bringing a kid into it.
4. Not apologizing or sat least trying to explain yourself is crazy.
5. Saying “we belong to each other because I imprinted you” and then locking yourself in their room when they try to leave is never going to be received well.
6. MC was more concerned with keeping his spouse with him than comforting or speaking to him to at least try to resolve the situation
7. Had zero respect for his spouse’s thoughts and emotions and tried to physically and emotionally trap him

Is anyone else weirded out by this whole side effect arc where she “can’t remember or feel anything negative”? She’s not being optimistic, she’s acting and thinking like a child. She’s basically mentally disabled now. Just a weird plot sequence in general.
While I’m glad Rutger turned her down (seeing as she basically has the mentality and reasoning of a child right now), his entire rationality was stupid and self centered. He knows how desperate Leoni is to get her kids back, but I don’t buy that “let her be born of love” crap. The kid’s soul already exists, is fully conscious, is astrally lurking inside Leoni all the time, and specifically said “I want to be born asap”.
What’s the holdup? He’s waiting for a magical rainbow romance with Leoni, and in the meantime…. what? He knows she does not, and has never loved him romantically, so how many years is he going to wait until she loves him enough?
It would be one thing if he was concerned about Briana being considered a bastard, or legitimately felt uncomfortable sleeping with someone he wasn’t in a relationship with, but that’s not what’s going on. What he’s essentially saying is “the kid you love who is waiting in limbo can’t be born until I am convinced you are in love with me”. That’s the bs. And if she wasn’t fucking mentally disabled right now, she would have called him on it
While i agree with u about that she's behaving as a degenarate, her actions are still not justified. She literally taking advantage of his feelings and body (after years of mental abuse what even the old him did not deserv and especially not the new him),
He has every right to protect them. How would u feel if the love of u life used u for their own liking? No matter the gender or sad experiences, no one is entiteled to act like she does. Btw, its pretty obvious she is falling for him from the previous chapters. I mean before she collapsed.
I don’t think she can really be held responsible for her decisions since she’s basically mentally incapacitated at the moment. And as I mentioned previously, IF Rutger had declined for those reasons, it would have been fair, but that’s NOT why he refused. He basically told her he won’t sleep with her until they have a magical fairytale romance, which would usually be fine, but let’s not pretend he’s not holding her child hostage in the hopes of an emotional reward, ie affection and a relationship.
The message was essentially, “I won’t let your child be born unless I believe you love me”, so she has no other choice to date and stay with him, whether she actually develops feelings. What happens if she never falls in love with him? Briana just has to keep floating in the void, trapped as a spirit, watching everyone else live their lives for years because daddy didn’t get the perfect little relationship he wanted, or doesn’t feel satisfied that Leoni loves him enough? He’s neglecting his child to cater to his own self centered desires.
It’s just very emotionally coercive on his part, whereas hers is based in desperation and a lack of any other, or better option.
It’s an untenable situation. She literally has no other option. She just spoke with Briana’s spirit who essentially begged her to be born asap. What is she supposed to do about that? Her baby is trapped in limbo until she can conceive her physical form with Rutger. Traveling between worlds puts an enormous strain on her, so she can’t just pop over to do this with the mature/responsible Rutger. He is her ONLY option.
What it really boils down to is that Leoni is prioritizing her child, and Rutger is prioritizing himself.

It doesn't matter what her goal is and that she's doing it for her daughter. That doesn't excuse her actions which is why when she came back to normal, she realized her mistake.
You saying that Rutger is prioritizing himself is wrong, you just want him to sacrifice himself for the sake of Leoni. Which he doesn't owe her anything regardless of what the other Rutger did.
But, I'll play along. Lets say they did have sex and had Briana, what then? Does Leoni just get to go back to her dimension and leave the current Rutger in her dimension by himself after getting what she wanted? Or does she stay and just visit the other dimension every now and then? They're not even married. So is she just going to go around carrying a child before marriage? Come on now. It's like you're saying everyone needs to bend to her will so she can get whatever she wants and f*ck everybody else.
You can't have your cake and eat it too. It doesn't work that way. Desperation doesn't excuse anything.
