i think it's bc they were on the same wavelength. initially it was curiosity, with how SY wasn't a gold digger or bootlicker (unlike many of the people that approach director). director learned pretty quickly that they're both depressed & deeply unstable, traumatized men, and he enjoyed teasing SY. beyond that, who can explain why anyone falls in love?

damn, this actually isn't bad i was expecting another shitty story about some confinement obsession or messed up revenge rape. Quite the pleasant surprise tbh and i really like both the top and the bottom since the top is super sweet and doting to the bottom while the bottom is very selfish (i'd say in a good way) in order to survive and yet even though his original plan was to leave the top and put himself first if they were in danger like he said instead he decided to go back and look for the top, really sweet to see. plus they're clearly inlove with eachother, so cute.
