Wow, now we're going to start with Sungtaek's painful past. This is where all began. It's so sad and, at the beginning, very misleading. And he's gonna get more hate from readers... Like, if I'm being honest, I don't enjoy Norman and Sungtaek's sex scenes, they're too graphic for my taste, but I don't hate them as characters. They seem to work out their flaws together.
And damm, one needs to learn how to lie like Chul-Jin to survive hahaha his mind work so fast and he's an expert manipulator.
That photo professor looks like the crazy doctor from The nightmare before cristmas movie lol

They're in the process of falling in love as adults. All that childhood crush was just that, an innocent but fervent crush. Clauden's mistrust and rejection is a clear manifestation of his trauma, which was a very violent one not only physically but emotionally. Everything he believed to be innocent and the feeling of being loved by the one you love was crushed to a pulp. Even with Luan's cries for forgiveness, I think is natural that Clauden needs time to heal and a chance to meet this new adult Luan, which brings a whole new side of him, and understand why everything happened the way it did but still it's gonna be tricky. Luan's guilt about what happened is gonna be the thing that causes more damage than good but they can repair those cracks in the relationship because Luan really loves him but was blinded for a moment of misdirected anger toward his own frustration AND because he couldn't recognized him. Again, it was a childhood crush and his memories resurfaced in a blur. Still, not a excuse to order to beat someone. Luan's feels that he did the beating himself, to the one he loves so dearly, so that's his own cross to bear.
Neither of them are right now in a good place mentally but that's what I love about this story. You can't just forgive and forget and memories are not to be trusted. Your feelings might deceived you too. So it's somewhat "good" that something that traumatic needed it to happen for them to grow up and start anew. It's sad and was so unfair for Clauden but is in accord with this kind of set up, royals and peasants, and a fierce strike that brought both of them bact to reality.

I could read a whole series of Ik-sun protecting his clueless boo from his fans or stalkers even if that stress him up. It shows how much he has changed.
But, Dohuuuuun, how can you give presents that were meant for you to your boo. That's tacky! In his mind he's just sharing something good and, again, he's clueless, but no. That's a big no. Still, he's a affectionate boyfriend.

I wonder if Mc, the boxer, saw something in his youth related to the guy, the bottom, and those kind of things done to him (the bondage, etc) and, in his dreams, he's magnifying them and he puts himself as the perpetuator. They're too real and detailed and it's clear that they have met before. He feels disgusted by them but also clearly aroused because they're still fantasies, a even if he's a freak, anyone can have wild fantasies. But, his mind is playing tricks and trying to bring back something he clearly wants to forget.
And well, the boss, .... maybe he's impotent.

The mc is a self-made man and I'm glad that he finally took breaks, slept and now he is enjoying life but, if we are being honest, if his boyfriend wasn't rich, another will be the story... Seok is his solace but if he was poor, less wealthy or less successful, he would be another struggling artist with anger (bottling up) or abandonment issues and they would have more problems because of mc's complexes and insecurities. This was the fantasy of all of us that has debts and work hard because financial stability is THAT important even in a loving relationship, because they have one. Seok is a great partner, he values his bf more than himself and was just what mc needed in his darkest moments. And yes, I know mc doesn't love him because he has money, he refuses his gifts and help many times, their journey to a happy relationship was long and full of growth, and only when mc was more stable emotionally that he started accepting all as a sign of mutual love, but it helps having a rich bf lol many of this stories are like this... but it was a pleasant read. Mc's anxiety and worries felt very real and well done.
I didn't connect with the second couple, a bit random and not well explored. The "incest" part was wtf especially because of jinwoo's crazy obsession with dojun that it got tiresome and annoying. And the other guy, Gi Tae, doesn't have a defined personality, he just wants jinwoo lol

I remember the days when some of us had to download manga chapters one by one and use winrar to view the images in galleries because there wasn't any other way to access to that kind of media. When I started making money, I bought japanese mangas from my favorites authors and, many years later, I finally bought some in my language but the prices were abismal because of shipping. Just recently, because of language, localization and prices again, I bought some korean ones like Enead in english, and chinese novels in spanish. The same with some webtoons but I prefer to read them here first and then, if I like them, I buy them, but even that is tricky because I will always prefer physical copies than digital ones and not all these stories has them. But that's because I can afford it, like a hobbie and from time to time because it's very expensive.
So I get why we read ilegally, I get why some young and not so young folks act reckless and flaunt that they read ilegally... before, it wasn't that easy to contact an author and so many get excited to be recognized and like to interact with them. But in the past, there was no social medial so many authors probably didn't know that they were pirated or if they knew, it was something very distant from them. Now, some people need to act moronic and actually post or show where they got the scans or name sites regardless of the author's feelings, they tag them fgs!! That's so stupid!! I get why the author would get mad and act like this one did. They feel disrespected and they are losing money. Whatever the kind of story is, a work of fiction in the end, it's their work and they should be recognized for that. But again, not everyone can do it or they don't care...
Then again, one should never flaunt so shamelessly on social media and just leave those authors alone. But, wow, some people are just plain dumbasses. If one can't support it, whatever the reason, at least one shouldn't interact with them like that. We can follow their social media accounts or like or share their posts, leave encouraring messages, make fan art or something if they author likes it... a healthy behavior. May be cynical but it's better than provoking them to lash out like this one when they clearly don't like their work being pirated.
But well, that's my experience. If you can support it, even if you read ilegally, do it. If you can't, don't post it on social media or be more mindful about that. Not everyone needs to know what one is doing.
And I read about what this author said about the people who read ilegally. Well, it's unprofessional and not really the place to vent like that, with those words full of violence and anger, but those were her feelings and she must have felt very frustrated and upset. Hope she can leave this behind and just do what she wants.
There he goes calling Sungtaek a murdered... Chul-Jin is just too much. He lies and lies or just twists everything in his favor. He thinks that's how he's gonna fix everything and get together with Minwoo... And it's true. Minwoo's loves Chul-Jin enough to gashlight himself and he's gonna fall for every little thing but first they need to clash and fight.
Chul-Jin and honesty just don't get along.
And poor Sungtaek, his life is just full of misunderstandings and the man is pure anxiety and fear. He has his reasons and very valid ones but well, let's see how this goes.
